Sunday Message from St Mary's Sileby 10th November 2024 1 John 5:1-12

The simple truth is that we must ask ourselves, "Have we been born again?" That means what it says in verse one.
"Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him."
This isn't just an intellectual act; it is faith, which is complete trust or confidence in Christ with all of everything. I trust him with my future, my present, my worries, my troubles, all of everything. If you've taken this step, you are guaranteed a place in heaven without a shadow of a doubt because you have been truly born again.
