The double meaning is real with her, since she is both a secretive character that was only revealed recently, but also a very precious "sacred" girl who chose to dabble in forbidden magics to save her kingdom and romantic interest. The "fallen for grace" motif is strong with her. Anyway she's an awesome character and I can't wait for the video on her. Oh and the Gauche video... I guess. I dunno, Gauche is not my favorite character. I can understand being overprotective of your cute little sister in a platonic brotherly love sort of way, but the man has NOSEBLEEDS over gazing upon her form... Two times in the serie Wizard King Julius also uses transformation magic, at the bar and when we saw him first time. Maybe it's possible to use a tiny bit of transformation magic without having a grimoire.

I can think of three things her new power could be, first is what you said of turning magic/objects into parts of the body (like giorno), second is turning her magic into time magic and turning back time with that or the final option would be transforming the body to how it was before without the wound. But I think what you said is the most likely one because the second one would be too similar to Julius' magic while the third one would be too similar to Vanessa's magic, and if there's something this manga likes to do is giving unique powers to each character (although Grey is all about copying others so maybe that's something that would go for the other two)

Vanessa already basically can manipulate probability so that she can decide that certain outcomes just don't happen, likewise Grey could be physically shifting outcomes, which would make sense to compare her and Vanessa in that regard. It would be two abilities that are similar, but function on different principles.
