Red Army by Ralph Peters Audiobook Part 1

  • Part one of the audio version of the book by Ralph Peters. As far as I'm aware, this is the only digital upload easily available on the internet. The only way the audiobook could be obtained was through buying a cassette, so that is the source of this recording as well.
Sadly, Red Army is no longer in print and is not on audible at the time of this upload, so I can't link to any online stores from which revenue would go straight to Mr. Peters.
I've had the files sitting on my hard drive for years, and I thought I'd share them with everybody interested. This is one of the best, if not the best piece of fiction written about the greatest war that never was.
    Enjoy!

Thanks for putting up the audiobook on the internet. I had never heard of this book before or ever read it, but already I'm intrigued. And the narrator also sounds fantastic.

This is one of those books I've bought a few times and lost a few times. Either lost it during field training in the Army or loaned it out and not get it back. Its like Team Yankee with Ivans. Thanks for posting.

@@davemedina5873 That one and Team Yankee as well. All of them are interesting takes on what "Could" have happened during that time.

@@tonyaughney8945 I'll look it up, I hadn't heard of it. I appreciate stories like this that give us an insight to a point of view we would otherwise ignore. Thanks!

Knowing who Ralph Peters was before reading this book, the ending legitimately shocked me.

Do you have all the parts? I only see about 3 hours worth. Can you upload them all or make a torrent?

Sadly it isn't. Significant parts of the book have been left out in the audio version.

If you cannot handle sounds of breathing, then you cannot handle the power of this book. You may need to check into a clinic for exhaustion and shell shocked. You will be stripped of your rank and dismissed from the Soviet Army
