I played this game for more than 1700 hours in total as a Japanese. I did everything I wanted to do without a MOD or with a MOD. The PC I was using is broken and I can't play it now, but if there is a day when I can play Kenshi 2, I'm prepared to buy a PC for 1 million yen.
Don't you worry, it's coming for sure. It'll be here when it's done. Lo-Fi answers to no one but themselves. They made a ton of money on Kenshi and are self funding the project. It's a beautiful thing.
My favorite part is when the guy says "Its Kenshi time!" And then he Kenshis all over the place. It was so beautiful and emotional, shouldve won an oscar
try these 2 mod "Optimization for Nvidia GPU in Kenshi"(nexusmods) and "Particles and foliage fix (performance and FPS boost)" (steam) , a lot of improvement
What's stupid about it? We haven't heard anything about it in almost 2 years. Just radio silence and these community spotlight videos every few months.
1. It's impossible to optimize. It's made with a third party engine that no one can legally change. 2. Game development and video making are things done by different people. Surprising, yes? Making videos doesn't affect development. Wow! Who knew.

It's about the ram, my friend. Your graphics matter far less. Take it to the shop and shove a 32 GB ram into it, it'll run like butter.
Even with all graphics settings on low, it still won't run.

game doesn't need any kind of optimization. The fact that it is buggy, messed up, janky, is the reason why we love it.
There are mods that can help with such problems by reducing the texture quality. You could also simply buy a better graphics card.
