By the time he's an adult, he's going to have so much life-death and traumatic experiences but still fighting that to give his all to saving everyone else. It's sad, honestly
I think one aspect of Deku that isn't given enough credit by the seniors is his abilities as a tactician. He's often treated as a loose cannon, which ignores the fact that his strategies, while often desperate, are usually very intelligent and make the most of what he's been given to work with. He exemplifies this in the new Rising movie of course. While Bakugou often makes the larger impact on the battlefield, it's almost always Deku that makes the overall battle plan. That ability to plan and manage a hectic situation is often what separates the 1A students from the pros, and Deku could probably manage his own minor pro agency at this point given the resources. Of course that ability comes from the fact that Deku started off with nothing and only *had* strategy to work with. He was to all intents and purposes quirkless during the first season.
You know, his methods may have been cruel, and he mighty have been screwed up, but Overhaul wasn’t wrong. Because of Quirks, practically everyday would be either a dangerous situation or a chaotic nightmare. Shigaraki proved just how bad something like that can get.
Eri and Deku are probably the MOST NICEST, CARING, characters in the show. When Deku wanted to save Eri in his first encounter with her, Eri knew that Kai was going to get violent. She rather suffer through all that pain than see 2 complete STRANGERS she never met before get hurt, and when Lemillion got his quirk erased. She rather go back with Kai instead of seeing Midoriya die or anyone else get hurt. In the end she felt really guilty for letting them take her which is a really caring sign of her.Deku, deku is one of the kindest because remember in Heroes Rising? He was willing to give up his dream for those to kids, and Kota, he punched him in the BALLS but yet he still used all his power to save him, and Eri he risked getting his quirk taken away from him,just because of this suffering girl. He could have just not done anything, but no that’s not the deku we know. He saved Eri with no doubts about it. And promised to never let her go again.
I feel you. Sir needed more screen time. I think he was just there as a temporary character for that arc, nothing more. He didn't even make a huge impact on Deku's character development. His quirk is pretty cool. Would love to see more of him in action.

yeah they did it all the time in some other animes and there isn't even talking going on all they had to do was not put anything and it woulda been nice. Also whoever voices deku keeps having these weird voice cracks whenever i hear them doing some kinda important scene honestly the reason why i enjoy the sub version of events better than the dub so far. Although can admit that some of the people who do certain characters like all might and todoroki seem to do a pretty good job in the dub.
I mean I understand that people have their preferences and all that, but honestly I 100% cannot fathom how you can't enjoy/love this show. It appeals to our very core as humans. The underdog story, the intense real emotions, constantly pursuing your hopes and dreams with all of your might until the end, the numerous inspirational quotes as well as inspirational music, not to mention the amazing animation and fight scenes the ensemble cast not only makes the show diverse and not all about Deku's story (I don't mean this as a negative) as well as it makes the show have a character for almost every viewer to relate to. On top of all of that the characters and writing is AMAZING. If they cannot enjoy the show I honestly think they cannot see the forest for the trees or are closed minded. MHA is one of the only shows that has made me cry this much.. and I rarely ever cry for anything (outside of extreme circumstances).

i personally would have added this: while overhaul lifts his view to deku, deku says "And if I fail" and right before the final punch, he yells "Ill make you pay." I know it may seem out of character for him, but I personally find it more impactful given the situation.

That would’ve been a death sentence for everyone as he didn’t know how her power worked until he used 100% . Ontop of that if he let Eri go Ocerhaul would’ve gone after her asap. And then when he was beaten Eri’s power went out of control. Basically there was no way they could’ve saved Night eye at that poing. There was just too much happening too fast.
Eri repays deku and millon both she gave millon back his qurik as for deku she helps him with Shig in the last battle. Eri in a way saves deku's life twice.

Deku saying he’ll smash that future always chokes me up little because of how good this arc was.
