From Season 8 Episode 19 'Emotional Rollercoaster'. It's Doug's 40th birthday and Carrie tries to make Doug realize his potential. So Doug decides he wants to ride a roller coaster that he was too afraid to ride when he was younger.

This show is the 🐐. From watching it as a young teenager to an adult. It has a different feel and perspective as an adult. It's such an exaggeration on real life and downright hilarious. Probably has the most perfect cast of all time.

they are exactly the same people, both are selfish. Doug's goal is to eat and play and that doesn't cost so much, Carrie wants to buy more things for herself which is expensive and hence wants Doug to take initiative because she is not smart enough. So, both of them use each other for getting what they want and then get mad at each other when the plan fails.

I know it´s a sitcom, but tbf Doug is a pretty below average man who basically has nothing to offer other than humour.

She wants her husband to be in a superior position to her. Maybe she's traditional and wants him to be a provider. Initially a lot of women look for a partner they love and loves them, realizing later on that it's also important to have a man you can respect, admire and look up to. Unfortunately, it often means the man has to earn more than she does.

Hated Carrie in this episode. She can't just be happy that he's happy. He loves his job and his life, despite giving up his basement to her dad. She only wanted him to "better himself" so she could be happy. Weight loss, exercise, a diet.

It all because of her friend from work said about her husband he went through problem after turning 40 then he got better taking her to Paris now she wants Doug to have more golds everytime Carrie find out people having excited life she wants it too remember when she found out deacon and Kelly have vacation house she didn't get it because Doug and deacon work at same place Kelly didn't work Carrie does it because it turns out they saved money cut back on take out

This sitcom gives a false sense of marriage security. In real life, women don't nag you to be manager or make money, they divorce you and take half your stuff and to marry a manager who treats them like crap. And then say at age 40 after two divorces they say “there’s no more nice guys these days”
