I work at wegmans flagship store in pittsford, NY. Recently the first Whole Foods in our city opened a half mile down the road. For a couple weeks the parking lot was jammed and our sales were down. Within just a few months the WF is a ghost town and our sales were back where they used to be. No one can beat or improve upon Wegmans, not even Jeff Bezos. It’s the best damn grocery store on planet earth. Period. Good quality, good prices, and they have everything you could want. No need to go to five shops… we got it all. I don’t brag as an employee, but as a Rochestarian who is proud of this institution. It is quite an incredible family business! Glad you enjoyed it ❤
that's so awesome, thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm so excited (clearly) to do some more regular grocery shopping there. My friends from upstate have always been RAVING about Wegmans! Anytime we go upstate we would always stop there to get amazing sandwiches and grab groceries and I'm happy there's finally one in the heart of Manhattan 😆 Can't wait to try all the chips, dips, sauces, etc and def open to hear your recommendations and the inside scoop as an employee! Also super happy to hear how proud you are to work there, that's honestly so rare nowadays!

Do they take EBT, also do the y sell Wild Planet canned fish. I usually get it from Whole Foods
