She was at that time newly discovered as a new champion singer at age 16, after listening to her voice instantly we became a fan and we watched her concert, live show and bought some of her album records. But afterwards we lost track of her bcos we were assigned to different countries. And finally after so many years not knowing about her I could not believe that I will be listening to her again through your channel. She is really a good singer, even better now. For those who do not speak Malay, the narrator was introducing the historic collaboration between Siti Nurhaliza, and her idol, Whitney Houston. In English:
"In 2012, the music industry lost one of the most popular artists, Whitney Houston. Tonight, we are very lucky because we are given the chance to listen to this song which will be performed in the most unique way. And we will be witnessing together, a history [is being made]. Because this performance is a collaboration between Dato' Siti Nurhaliza, and a singer who has inspired her, Whitney Houston."
The actress who is playing Whitney is DEFINITELY not her, but her look-alike. There was one commentator who commented that Whitney is being played by a model, Christina Anderson McDonald. I'm not so sure how true this information is. But Christina does look like Whitney in certain shots.

People seems to forget that in her early days, Siti was always criticized for her poor english. Its sad remembering how she was treated just because she can’t speak in english.
People have to start from somewhere.. I'm glad that her performance is getting better in English.
