It's not hated. It's just outshined by Mob of the Dead and Origins People pick those maps over Buried, I myself own Buried simply because it was me and my pal's decision, it was my first DLC map and I enjoy it very much, but I would easily take the other maps.
I love Buried, but as a zombies player who's been playing since Nacht, I've just.. gotten way too good at Buried. The scenery makes me have fun for the first 5 rounds, and then the rest of the game is just a slog. Half the time I end my game instead of dying out of boredom. It's a good map, just.. too easy.
it’s so crazy to think how young i was when i played this. i’m now 19 and can recall all the memories i created on this map and losing my money to the witches thinking the next time they won’t be able to rob me. shoutout to everyone who enjoyed this gem of a childhood game.
Jesus...listening to this almost makes me crying the shit out of my life. I miss the good old days. Buried or origins were the one of the best maps ever. Fuck the time running by... Give me back the old days...
We're always running from death, which we need to live. It's inevitable, unstoppable. Yet as we run avoiding it, we become that same thing. And in the end everyone is one in the same. We lose everything we are and join in the very thing we avoid.
My guess is that it's kinda referencing how Stuhlinger has to fight zombies but since he was part of "The Flesh" and therefore ingested Element 115, he also has to fight becoming a zombie. I might be looking to deep though honestly lol
@@thequagsire5236 thats what I thought ever since I first heard the song, it's Stu running from the zombies, whilst "becoming" one himself, I could go ahead and describe every verse but I'd have to write it down before putting it here
It's a sad day for Zombie fans in BO2. We will have a new dlc with remastered maps but there won't even be buried or mob of the dead. I will never forget those incredible maps.
What I love about Malukah is that you can actually understand what she's saying. Half the songs I hear I can't understand anything but Malukah just has a clear, strong voice, I love it.
Some of the best people I've ever met were over Zombies. Many times we planned to play again and never did, but I will always remember the randoms I played with. Maybe not the names, but 100% the good times. This community, these people... It's one of the best out there, and all of us here will agree. Yes, a few toxic players here and there can make a game go sour, but what's a few toxic players when the community as a whole is just so accepting and amazing? All of you here, you are the GOATs. This community is the GOAT. I respect and value all of you, as most of my good childhood memories are of playing Zombies with folks like you. Thank you for being the best gaming community I have ever been part of, and continue to be!!!
honestly it makes me so sad how activision is treating the older games including all the zombies I think they've honestly abandoned it and don't care anymore I've played zombies for so long I'm just glad we still have others in the community and the music too
Kevin hello, when I was 5 and played zombies on cod and heard you music it blew me away and you inspired me to pick up the guitar and start writing music I'm 11 now and I guess time flies by when your having fun long lived the gold age of cod 2008 - 2013 🤟
I agree. I know a lot of people still play COD, but it's not what is used to be. IMO this was the last good call of duty game. The franchise went downhill after this. Had some of the most fun gaming on this game and on zombies especially
i feel that they should release an album of all the easter egg-songs on spotify because i love to listen to them but my phone dies if I keep youtube on. PLS GUYS MAKE THIS HAPPEN MANY PEOPLE WANT THIS
It bothers me hearing this song and jumping back on ps3 and seeing all my old messages and old online ids of people i made friends with who have not been online for 6-7 years. It makes me feel sad really. A lot of fond memories with these games.
Black ops 2 gave me some of the best memories of my life it’s depressing seeing how much time it’s been since this game way new but now nobody plays its anymore
I'm listening to this as an outsider looking in, a young adult who never experienced the Cod Zombie days. I can't imagine how much harder this song must hit with all that nostalgia attached.
I've always loved the 3:13 easter egg. Beauty of Annihilation... my God, I'm crying. THAT was a time for zombies. Buried, Mob of the Dead, Origins will forever be in my heart, but Kino der Toten and Der Riese... man... I'm not alone in this, I'm sure
The song taking place while “buried” and in becoming what she is, is like a form of ascension to a new form, and with that Easter egg nod to beauty of annihilation from the map “ascension”. Fucking art bro. 💪
Being a 15 year old, I grew up hearing this. I remember Origins coming out, and all of my Xbox 360 friends were talking about how awesome it was. I miss this game.
@@tptkpablo Not really bro I'm just 17 now! I'll be 18 in december. Thanks for bringing me back to this place man I needed to be reminded of this game.

Best song on zombies EVER. This and beauty of anhilation are awesome. Really wanted a bo3 dlc4 music video with this song. Brings back some good old memories :)
It’s beautiful how old videos have comments talking about nostalgic things, it puts a smile in my face yet a tear in my heart at the same time, it’s stuff like this that bring humans together, especially those who grew up playing this legendary game like me
they really shouldn't let me grow up before releasing new maps, im afraid I won't be able to play zombies in some years...holy shit my life is gonna suck
Idk why I posted the comment I did 8 years ago about this song needing "constructive criticism". I remember being like 12-13 at the time, I'm 21 now. These songs really were a mark of their time, we didn't realize we were making memories at this time. Call of Duty Zombies will always be a special part of my childhood and these songs encapsulate them perfectly. Thank you Kevin as well as the singers for making these memories with us
The vocalization is beautiful yet gives tones of dread and despair to match the situation of endlessly being chased by mobs of undead. Still have those images burned into my mind of late-night onslaughts where just for a few seconds I could spin and blast the wave of faces pushing towards me.
One time while playing Zombies on the buried map me and my friends were holding out by the Jugg machine. I think someone went down and we decided to hold up there while they got jugg. It was a later round maybe 30 or something. But while we were there for a minute we got over ran and I had the wonder weapon that belonged to the buried map. I pulled it out and looked down at my feet and I flew over all the zombies while my friends got swarmed at jugg. I just dipped and abandoned all of them. They all went down and they all seen me flying over the zombies while they swiped at my feet. It’s one of my favorite zombie memories. I saved the video clip of it on the cod theater mode. It was so funny to me how I instinctually baled on them. I didn’t even say a word. I just fell back and left them all to die.
I did a similar thing once in Mob of the dead. I was on the roof waiting for my friends to get there and then Brutus spawned but since I had no ammo I went straight to the plane at the exact moment my friends got to the roof but they were also overwhelmed since there were zombies chasing behind them. It was funny because I just turn around and see them flee back to the infirmary where they died.
It's 3 am and I'm having a life changing workout session. I kept whipping my tear with this rough towel so now it looks like my tears are blood streams... I truly am becoming *unstoppable*
Why is it that the songs Malukah does vocals for, they always sound so darn sad? Either way, I can never get enough of her voice and your performance, Kevin. Never stop doing what your doing, cause it is a blessing tenfold!
Creeping Art Creature Her vocals just sound really melancholy. She has an amazing voice but still. Elena has a voice that fits more with death metal or whatever. So does Clark S. Nova
In this solemn field of silence I can barely feel the pain Blind and deaf to all the violence And I've always felt this way La, 'la, 'la, 'la On the wind a smell of misery Fear and death perfume the air It begins again in mystery And I always end up there Always unsuspecting So easy to lure them away from All the angels within I am running, from something I'm becoming Unstoppable And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from Becoming one Always Running Like something might be coming To follow me And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from Becoming one I am Letting go of all I know From this buried well of consciousness I can barely hear the rain Everyone becomes anonymous All their faces seem the same Always unrelenting Decending into our own nightmare From this twisted fantasy Falling far away from The beauty of annihilation Do the faceless face fear I am running, from something I'm becoming Unstoppable And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from Becoming one Always Running Like something might be coming To follow me And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from Becoming one I've become Something they all run from I want you to be gone But I know you've just begun Why am I numb To everything I have done There's no going back for me Becoming has taken its toll on me I am running, from something I'm becoming Unstoppable And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from Becoming one Always Running Like something might be coming To follow me And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from Becoming one I am running, from something I'm becoming Unstoppable And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from Becoming one Always Running Like something might be coming To follow me And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from Becoming one I am running from the other ones And the other ones I'm running from And becoming one means I'm running from All I am

idk why people hate buried its such a legendary map
It's not hated. It's just outshined by Mob of the Dead and Origins
People pick those maps over Buried, I myself own Buried simply because it was me and my pal's decision, it was my first DLC map and I enjoy it very much, but I would easily take the other maps.
people think its too easy, which it is, but that doesnt mean its a bad map. Its personally my favorite...
I love Buried, but as a zombies player who's been playing since Nacht, I've just.. gotten way too good at Buried. The scenery makes me have fun for the first 5 rounds, and then the rest of the game is just a slog. Half the time I end my game instead of dying out of boredom. It's a good map, just.. too easy.

Never heard that maybe the building one was a little bit bad but not burried
it’s so crazy to think how young i was when i played this. i’m now 19 and can recall all the memories i created on this map and losing my money to the witches thinking the next time they won’t be able to rob me. shoutout to everyone who enjoyed this gem of a childhood game.

when I actually read the lyrics I realize that this song has the most confusing chorus, but they manage to speech 100 it so well that it's a banger.
How is it confusing?

Looks like we found weasel boys
Ngl that is a cluch play i might try it with a few friends
I did a similar thing once in Mob of the dead. I was on the roof waiting for my friends to get there and then Brutus spawned but since I had no ammo I went straight to the plane at the exact moment my friends got to the roof but they were also overwhelmed since there were zombies chasing behind them. It was funny because I just turn around and see them flee back to the infirmary where they died.
You should post the clip

Getting on Buried after getting out of middle school. Oh man the memories.
In this solemn field of silence
I can barely feel the pain
Blind and deaf to all the violence
And I've always felt this way
La, 'la, 'la, 'la
On the wind a smell of misery
Fear and death perfume the air
It begins again in mystery
And I always end up there
Always unsuspecting
So easy to lure them away from
All the angels within
I am running, from something I'm becoming
Unstoppable
And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from
Becoming one
Always Running
Like something might be coming
To follow me
And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from
Becoming one
I am
Letting go of all I know
From this buried well of consciousness
I can barely hear the rain
Everyone becomes anonymous
All their faces seem the same
Always unrelenting
Decending into our own nightmare
From this twisted fantasy
Falling far away from
The beauty of annihilation
Do the faceless face fear
I am running, from something I'm becoming
Unstoppable
And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from
Becoming one
Always Running
Like something might be coming
To follow me
And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from
Becoming one
I've become
Something they all run from
I want you to be gone
But I know you've just begun
Why am I numb
To everything I have done
There's no going back for me
Becoming has taken its toll on me
I am running, from something I'm becoming
Unstoppable
And I'm coming from the something that I'm running from
Becoming one
Always Running
Like something might be coming
To follow me
And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from
Becoming one

Becoming one
Always Running
Like something might be coming
To follow me
And I'm running from the something that I'm coming from
