The eco cruise and snorkeling, and all the restaurants looked fabulous.

Bonjour Phoebe, Bonjour Mat. In 2018, my wife and I made the decision to prepare a 6 month trip around the world in 2020 (for our respective fifties) Then came this damn virus that canceled everything. I was so depressed, so I started to watch travelers' blogs, first in French, my mother tongue, then more recently in English . Queensland : Hervey Bay, Yeppoon, Noosa Heads and Brisbane are the destinations that we have chosen for Australia, a week in each place (slow travel), it is our way of doing to fully appreciate the places and having more chance to meet the locals . And that's how I discovered the great LITTLE GREY BOX. I immediately appreciated your style.
Mat, your work behind the camera is remarkable, your shots and video editing are really excellent, and play list : wow. I can hardly imagine the number of hours you spend to finalize every single minute... Phoebe, I appreciate your work too, your tone, enthusiasm, smile, your description of places and experiences are dynamic, precise just what is needed. I also really like the sincerity and transparency of your approach. Finally, I'm not very good at English, so "cherry on the cake", in addition to your very valuable and relevant advices, I have to confess : I'm also using your videos to improve my english and I intend to continue throughout 2021 until 2022 when my wife and I finally will hit the road. It will be even more exciting and that's partly "because of you two". As you say, your may be ordinary people, but you are also really inspiring, yes, both of you. So please continue ! So loved watching your videos. I had to wait 30 years to get to Australia and visited the local area travelling daily up from Lismore. Would love to live in Oz but alas now unlikely so watching your videos has filled my heart during these strange times.

Heya! I thought my appartment at Mantra Circle on Cavill was huge, but this one is even better! I need to remember this one 😎. That local seafood is superfresh, made on the spot, delicious! Snorkeling and diving will always be my thing while traveling. The underwater seaworld is so beautiful and calming. That’s something I really need right now. I love being on or in the water, that yoga class looks perfect too 👌. You’ve visited some really great hidden gems, I need to get back there and complete my previous trip 😉. I hope you’ll have a better Christmas than the one I’m looking forward to as I’ll be home alone in quarantine. Now my housemate got COVID and he’s recovering at his parental home. So this Christmas will probably be my loneliest ever. I secretly hope to catch another Little Grey Box video second Christmas day. Last Christmas was much better, barbecuing in Tassie. 🍗 Merry Christmas to you! 🌲

I’ve lived here for 25 years and never knew of some of these places or tours. Though I do look further afar for my travels as do most people when you live somewhere you want to get out of there and see something else.

We’ve been very thankful to be in Queensland during it all! Restrictions have been quite chill for some time now - I really feel for people doing it so tough in places like the UK and USA 💔
