- Part 1 of Carenado's X-Plane 11 Twin Commander 690B Cold/Dark Tutorial. I'm sorry I had to split the video into 2 sections. Nvidia's last driver was causing crazy OBS errors but luckily I was able to get the full tutorial completed. Let me know what you think so far of the 690B. I do highly recommend pairing this aircraft with RealityXP's GTN 750. It will make your flying experience even more amazing. 13:43 Fuel and hydraulic shutoff switches are those red knobs on the overhead panel next to engine start switch.
Also, afaik, the NTS test light is not the light on the overhead panel, but the light below the fuel flow meter.
I would have liked to see the start up, especially on the overhead panel.

But for startup tutorial I really like to see the mouse cursor,
Some people may be more visual and it help so much to put the mouse cursor on,,
If you do a cinematic or montage obviously you'll want to remove it but for a tutorial it help a lot!

Yeah I apologize for that. I should upload a new one. I didn't realize OBS wasn't the mouse until after the video upload so my apologies.

I appreciate your work but it's very difficult to follow because you don't show what you're doing with your mouse arrow, and you don't zoom in on anything, example setting your alt pressure, we couldn't see how you're setting it
Brian, my apologies. I accidentally had the mouse pointer turned off for this video but I will try not to make that mistake in future videos.

As mr. Arkin inquired I see no link to a checklist. I agree the one that Carenado supplies is confusing to say the least.
I do apologize, ikedaman. The original one had dropped off the map some time back and I was able to find another one but it looks like that one as well has been deleted. I will do my best to find and upload another copy. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Checklist link not working. Thanks for the info nonetheless. Been looking for liveries for this aircraft and definitely a better checklist.
how do you put cold and dark? thanks
Hey Pablo. Hope everything is going well. When you select the Aircraft in X-Plane 11, go to customize, in that section at the bottom right you'll see "start with engines running." Make sure that box is unchecked and you'll be able to start Cold/Dark. Hope this helps.

Hello, Mariano. I apologize. The original one has been deleted from the net sadly. Until I can find a better one, please use the normal procedures that come with the plane and can be located in X-Plane 11/Aircraft/Carenado 690B/Documentation folder.
how do you remove the yoke?
rockman2205 The lower part of the control yoke has a click able spot that will remove the yoke. It works on both the pilot and CO pilot side.
