Recipes look amazing! Fellow vegan here, 6 years 🌱 I think some people might be getting confused in the comments due to the titles of the videos in this series, such as “I want my old body back” “clothes don’t fit” etc. But Madeleine clearly isn’t bothered about her weight gain, she’s showing how she’s enjoying being an intuitive eater and being in her new larger body. As long as she’s happy and healthy that’s all that matters girlies xx
I appreciate this series of yours. I survived living my life with an eating disorder when I was in high school till after I married my high school sweetheart. I'm from the states. I was raised in the 80s and grew up in the 90s. And in the 90s, at least at my school, there was counseling classes for teens with eating disorders. It helped me so much, as I come from a family at that time, full of narcissistic people. Being the oldest of six children, I needed a open outlet to talk, but I didn't have someone to talk to often. I took it upon myself and took out my family problems out on my weight. I was always on the heavier side as a kid. I don't know why I saw my weight to define who I am at heart. Looking back at my childhood photos, I wasn't even that heavy as I imagined, but kids my age always teased me, made fun of me and bullied me. Years later, I'm in a way better place now, mentally with my relationship with food. I enjoy my food now without nitpicking at my body after eating just one small donut hole🥹🫂❤️ I also have kept my workouts because movement is a huge part of our self-care. I can enjoy eating all sorts of varieties of foods. But tbh as well, I'd be lieing if I said I don't get slight bad thoughts about myself and food still. I do my best to squish those negative thoughts and tell myself... I am a loving mother, I have a beautiful little family here, I have an amazing, wonderful husband. I appreciate all my friends and these helpful TH-cam channels. I tell myself, I'll be ok. I'm once again humbled after giving my self a pep talk. We have to be our own advocate. We have to be our own cheerleader. As long as I'm not abusing my portions of what I'm eating, I will enjoy fueling my body daily. I appreciate your vlogs on this series, because I relate to them all so much. I have to say a huge...HUGE... Thank you. You're such a beautiful individual. And not just saying that! You truly are!!Anyways, I wish you and your family a beautiful, safe holiday season 🎄✨❤️❄️🎀🍰🍷☕☃️🦌🛷
Always so excited for a new video of you! Thanks for being so open and vulnerable! I think there's a lot of us struggling out there and you speaking your mind and talking about it openly just helps all of us feel seen. Thanks for that💚
Dear Madeleine, please keep making this sort of content! You are helping a lot of people by being so open and sharing advice and experiences on this subject!!
There are a lot of comments here where people seem to have completely missed the point of this video. Madeleine I think you’re incredible for sharing your own experiences with us as well as creating a safe space for those who may have gone or are going through something similar. I’m still trying to get over food issues from when I was at Weight Watchers several years ago and this series has really helped me. Spoiler alert, my body and my weight aren’t the problem, toxic diet culture is! Thank you ❤️
Love how real and relatable this video is, Madeleine!💛 Your journey is so inspiring, and it's amazing to see you take control of your happiness. Keep the great content coming! 🙂
I absolutely adore this serie, it's so nice, make me feel relieved that I enjoy food. Really need to try this apple and cranberries cake 🍎 can't wait for vlogmas
Love the positive attitude you have with eating in these vlogs, it’s really given me a different perspective of food. I do find nutritional balance interesting. Lovely vlog, have a nice week ❤
Madeleine, I love your tips on nutrition but AG1 is surrounded with a lot of controversy in regards to their health claims...:( Please watch Scott Carney's and Josh Brett's video.
So what happens if enough of you complain and she loses a sponsor? Controversy doesn't = truth. In the process of spreading rumors you could make your "favorite" youtuber lose money.
“Lead Contamination Lawsuit (2015): The Environmental Research Center sued Athletic Greens over high levels of lead detected in their product. The company settled the case by agreeing to include warnings about potential lead exposure on its packaging in California. However, this warning was not included elsewhere in the U.S., leaving some customers unaware of the potential risk.”
HI there! I just wanted to point out that there is a lot of controversy around AG1 at the moment. Apparently they are not as science backed as the founders claimed they were/are. Otherwise, great video! Love it as always!
I'm not someone who has ever struggled with weight gain, but I do struggle with putting weight on. I've never really been a big eater, although I love food and cooking. I trained as a chef so love experimenting with flavours etc. I'm also a vegan that really doesn't like vegan chocolate etc. I'm not overly keen on the cheeses. Some I dont mind but I've just kind of stopped eating them. I love your content. I love how down to earth you are. Keep being you 💚💚
Thank you for sharing this. I typically find these kind of what I eat videos make me feel like I'm eating wrong, it is nice to see that other people eat crisps and have to make oven meals occasionally too! I would love to cook more but I do end up resorting to convenience foods more often than I would like. I agree that thinking about making meals more balanced in terms of protein, fats etc rather than restricting is a much more positive way to look at it, whenever I restrict I just end up obsessing over certain foods.
Love the video!! as a vegan. I find monitoring these two things help oils and this would include “vegan” cheeses, which are really full of oils and additives and you still have to watch the amount of carbs you eat bread, etc Admire you for always extending yourself to help others❤❤
Thankyou for another inspirational vlog. Love the tip on adding nutrition to your meals rather than counting calories etc. I’m finding your approach to eating with intention very helpful. I’ve battled all my life with an unhealthy way of eating love your recipes haven’t tried to make. Any yet, but hoping to. In future 😊
Thank you so so much Madeleine for Another Amazing and Beautiful Vlog.Thank you for always being such a Beautiful, inspiring, and wonderful TH-camr.I wish you have a blessed blessed weekend🥹🥹❤❤
Something I recently fell in love with and I think you would absolutely love is korean/chinese style silken tofu with a side of rice! Its very nourishing fresh and super quick to make ❤ Hope you try it out!
All dishes look just mouthwatering👍 And the way you eat is so "contagious"😉 Bon appetit to you and us, your followers) Thank you for the ideas and inspiration.
I'm 100% in my mustard era as well! I have a massive collection at the moment and i love it! I have been looking for a good rosti recipe too, I'll have to give that one a try!
I do like your content, you seem authentic. It seems like every single channel advertises this supplement. Please check the ingredients in this stuff. It's super expensive and most of the ingredients are in such small doses that they may as well not be in there. There are much better options than this junk.
I think you would really love Stockholm. I've been a couple times and the culture and city are just beautiful. If you are thinking of a trip I would highly recommend
Thanks for mentioning salt and vinegar crisps. I had exactly the same problem with eating a whole bag and feeling appalling the next day. Especially with the Walker's brand.
Thank you for this brilliant series. Was just wondering if you have come across the overherd brand, oat milk powder that you mix at home_ no seed oil and no need for multiple cartons 😀
One of the main things that women do is to eat the same amount of food as men do so let’s not be surprised when we gain weight.I used to do that before but not anymore and is a game changer honestly.I just spread some thoughts here ,not shaming anyone or being mean to anyone because I am not perfect either!!
Thank you, I've noticed that, too. Some youtubers (female) eat the same portion size as their male partners. Women have a lower calorie requirement to men. Plus, our portion sizes are way too large in the West nowadays.
My takeaway from this series is not about the risks of putting on weight or how to lose weight, it's more about forming a healthy mentality when it comes to food and how to make healthy, maintainable choices which help you to enjoy your life.
The title feels like a massive clickbait. Naming your episodes "i gained the weight back" for views but you don't even bother dieting you just eat whatever 😂.
You have misunderstood what this series is about. Please watch the first episode and also listen to my introduction. It isn’t clickbait! I am not trying to lose weight
Hve you tried inttermittent fasting? You can still eat what you want but needs to be within a time window. The peri-menaupose gifted me 15kgs nearly overnight. It affected me to so much mentally to go from size 8 to 14 that I was given therapy sessions to talk it over. I started fasting over 1 month ago and eating more protein than carbs (I still eat them but careful the portion is less if you see what I mean). I also take berberine supplement which naturally supress appetite and now I only eat twice a day and it's enough to satisfy me. I am now a size 12. I need to start doigng more core exercise. Anyway, I hope I didn't bore you. Just another solution that works if you want to try it 😀xx
@@MadeleineOlivia I think perimenopause complicates this. It is a whole other topic really and there is lots of other symptoms alongside it. Unfortunately if you start to carry lots more weight, due to these hormonal changes it can put you at risk of other health complications. You are not there yet (you are a spring chicken 😊) but just wanted to point this out xx
Thanks Jo but I will say it is still an inappropriate thing to point out to someone as you don’t know my personal health and I haven’t asked for any advice with it. Just something to think about when making assumptions even if meant with kind intent xx
I think if you have food issues intermittent fasting can still be quite triggering even if youre allowed to eat whatever you want. I've seen it work for lots of people but anxiety around food can make this a mentally horrible experience
Saying you're interested in your health "as a priority which includes food freedom" makes no sense. It's a basic fact that carrying extra weight is a risk factor for health.
I’d recommend you do more research into this as this approach is very outdated and simplified. Being mentally ill with an eating disorder is a risk factor for health
@@MadeleineOlivia Sorry but it's proven carrying too much weight and in the wrong places leads to among other thins - joint and cardio issues, diabetes, skin conditions... not everyone with weight problems has mental health issues. No one is suggesting what you do but it's a controversial topic and everyone's entitled to their opinion albeit respectfully put.
Weight is not the sole indicator of someone’s health. There are many other factors to consider so it is unhelpful to focus on by itself. There is a lot more that would need to be taken into consideration. Cardio issues, diabetes or skin conditions as your examples would be caused by more than someone’s weight.
Eating whatever we want is not the right way to deal with weight gain....a bit of restriction would help....otherwise we'll end up gaining more and more weight and Madeleine is far from her fourthies where she will have to take care of herself anyway to balance her hormones...just a friendly advice. X
I didn’t ask for any advice on my weight or offerings of restrictive dieting. This series and these videos are the exact opposite of this so maybe these aren’t the videos for you ❤️
How is she copying? There are tons of people who do videos on food/lifestyle ED recovery etc. This type of content has been a constant on this channel. If you don't enjoy her content then you do not have to watch it.

she earns money promoting them. just eat plantbased wholefood and enough calories, that way you don't need supplementation like that.
