Talented, charismatic, strange, unique, discovered his talent by chance, outrageous, came out of the people and the ghetto, a star, the best rhythm and blues and soul voice of England, with a unique gift, destroyed by newspapers and his rash behavior and statements. But this is Brian Harvey, he couldn't be any different. Underestimated, due to the mutation of modern music and the end of the boyz bands era and the decline of the golden era of hip hop and soul/rhythm and blues. Brian Harvey and East 17 will always remain in our hearts. But unfortunately, and it's obvious that his voice could not compete at that moment with Boyz2Men, Jodeci, and the American soul/rhythm and blues/gospel market, and even with Backstreet boyz and Nsync, there were more powerful voices and bigger budgets in this market. Not fate. But we still love you Brian Harvey and we'll remember you so amazing, you're a legend. There is no you, there is no East Seventeen. Peace.
Completely agree with you, and really sad that Brian and his band East 17 missed their uniqe chance given by God to become more popular, famous and rich but look were they are now, no money, no songs to perform, really feel sorry for Brian Harvey...
This song is not as good as their earlier hits! Yes 1998 was better than today. The internet was still in its infancy back then. So almost every bought music from record shops. And mobile phones were mobile phones back then. Tough sturdy machines not like the easily broken phones of today.
