Idk how anyone could be disappointed by the minifigs in this set. I've wanted a daredevil minifigure forever. I also like that there's some reporters that come with the set to populate it. Honestly the best minifigure selection I've seen in a very long time for any theme.
Why would Kingpin be working ALONG those supervillains? He either fights alone or commands others, honestly Kingpin is perfect for a Daredevil-only set, or an exclusively Kingpin VS Spidey set
Also, they should have included Scorpion in the set because he has major ties to JJJ and the Daily bugle, as well as Carnage and Venom in recent comics.
and they had him in previous sets such as a junior set and the bridge set, so it would have been amazing if they just did a renewed version like they did with all the other villains

They could have also taken out someone like Mysterio who seems like he was kinda thrown in the complete the sinister six. Just sad we didn’t get a new villain (I don’t think of Black Cat as a villain, more of an Anti-Hero)
A classic Electro is the big thing I wanted to see them add in this, sure there's plenty of new characters but they don't use much in the way of new parts, I think he'd be the standout of the set for a lot of people. I also agree that a bigger Venom or a big-fig Rhino would have been cool. It still looks amazing though even with the reused villains the way they're incorporated into the build is genius.
This is beautiful, the tan really does improve the set tho. I would love to see an Oscorp, Baxter Building, Stark Tower, X-Mansion, Sanctum Sanctorum, Avengers compound, Wakanda’s Palace, and even heroes for hire modular sets!!!

What sucks is that they could have made a Reed Richards / Mr Fantastic minifigure because after all they do you have those stretchy arm pieces that they used in Elastigirl / Mrs. Incredible so you would think the least they could do was make one.
I really like that LEGO was able to do Dare Devil, Blade, and The Punisher; this set's price point is almost worth it just because of them. But the Lizard would have been really nice, as well as Kingpin. I'm hoping LEGO won't keep the new minifigs exclusive to this set for too long!
The only figure that I REALLY feel like was missing was the Lizard. I really feel like he was missing because we have never gotten him before. Other than that I am happy with the minifigs.
It would be awesome if in a future they made an expansion to this set that included man of the missing figs. For example, a Fisk Tower including Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), Iceman, and others, and maybe even Peni Parker.
I literally agree with everything you said. It would have been awesome to get a Spider Man Noir and Penni Parker with her mech suit to complete the spider verse characters. And possibly a Prowler minifig. But this set is brilliant, I’ll definitely save up for it! Great Video Hassan!
No matter how many figures they included it still wouldn’t be enough. With how popular Spider-Man is he’s got not only a great roster of characters specific to his story that people love he also is connected to nearly every aspect of the wider marvel universe.
I think we'll get there eventually, but we definitely need a Baxter Building set with the Thing as a Big fig, 2 Human Torch figs(flamed up and not) Mister Fantastic(with some ability to recreate his stretching powers), Invisible Woman(see through[for "invisibility"] and not), and maybe add characters like Silver Surfer(and a Galactus build that's like Giant man from the Civil War set- maybe even bigger) or Super Skrull if they wanted to shake things up. Maybe even get an updated look for Doctor Doom.

Reuse pieces to have minifigs of Spider-Man, Daredevil, Foggy, Karen Page, Eddie Brock, Peter Parker, Captain Stacy, maybe a few more. Trade height for width and less minifigs for 3 big figs.
I think the mini figures are good, nice to have some daily bugle employees to populate the building. The Firestar inclusion is a little weird to me given that she's really not a popular character, would prefer a different character for a new fig. The repeated figs make more sense now given that the designer was restricted by Legos rules on number of new figures.
Honestly she's like the least popular character that I feel like I see all the time. It's not that people dislike her but that she isn't really well known yet she's everywhere I feel
I hope lego produces an 18+ set of Oscorp tower with a heap of different villains such as the green goblin, vulture, rhino, scorpion electro, lizard and kingpin. The lizard and rhino would be big figs. the vulture would have wings sort of like the ones we got from the spider man home coming Lego set. Scorpion would have a stinger made out of ball joints for it to be more movable. The green goblin would have an upgraded Glider with stud shooters and the green goblin would have pumpkin bombs. King pin would either be a big fig or normal Minifigure so that would be for Lego to decide. Electro would have a few different electric pieces to hold. They could also include a few Oscorp guards and maybe even a few other villains. I'm not sure about the hero side of things but I'd include Spiderman, wolverine, Deadpool, ghost rider, maybe iron fist and white tiger. Id also include either spider Noir, spider woman, Scarlet spider, iron spider and agent venom. A few other characters that could be included are morbius, Mr negative and kraven The hunter. For the building colours I'd do Black for the bricks and the windows would be clear . I'd include a lab/office for Norman Osborne where he'd keep all of his green goblin equipment such as the glider and Dr curt Connors lab which would include some lizards in a cage and some of the lizard serum. I'd include the room where petter Parker was bitten by the radioactive spider, the lobby with some sliding doors, and maybe even something like a jail cell to contain rhino. Considering the new mold for Thanos it’s odd that they wouldn’t include a bigfig Venom, especially since it has studs on the back for something like tentacles. Oh well, at least we finally get The Punisher for the first (and surely the last) time. Also, the “wedge shape design” that you refer to used for The Daily Bugle in the movie is called the Flatiron Building. It’s a pretty iconic landmark that everyone knows of.
Honestly about the Stan Lee stuff i wish he was in the set, it would have been perfect but Stan Lee once said the JJJ was meant to be a version of himself if he was an angry guy, so in a sense he was kinda included.
If Venom is going to be a big fig i really want the exact version from lego marvel superheros 2, him all hunched over and a molded tongue, I'd be so cool. They've made different molds for big figs before, maybe again for a much more well known character than some they've made.
If I had the chance to replace some of the characters would definitely be Shocker instead of Carnage, Electro, Moon Knight and Scorpion instead of the 3 civilians and Knigpin (with Hagrid mold) instead of Gwen and Spider-Ham
I actually have this set rn, and it took 4 days worth to build it (constant interruptions and work ), but it was worth it. As for the minifig roster, I think the picks were decent, we finally got the punisher and daredevil, not to mention black cat, blade, and firestar.
I wish they renewed some villains in this set like they did with characters in 2018 and 2021, they could have brought back scorpion and Kraven with new prints I still love the set tho and will get it day one
Classic Electro, Big Fig Rhino, and Big Fig Venom are all I would’ve wanted in this set. But I know Big Figs are more expensive to make than repeating a minifig so i kinda get why they didn’t do it
I really want classic Shocker, classic Rhino, classic Electro, classic Lizard, classic Morbius, classic Kingpin, and classic Chameleon. If we get those, then with all the prior released villains...we'd have PRETTY MUCH all the biggest major playing villains in their classic looks. I was hoping for an Iceman since Firestar was included as well.

the inner spider-man year 2000 game in me is disappointed that scorpion and the symbiotes from the game arent in the set. But the rest of me knows that the symbiotes are a bit too much on the obscure side, although I have no idea why scorpion isnt there.
On his videos is actually the first time I've ever commented on a youtube video. Anyway, I am a huge fan of learning how and why Lego does certain things. Understanding helps with my forgiveness on certain things, I.E. color and which minifigs. Great video, and your tan indeed looks better. I'll be doing a color swap after we move and i build the set.
Im a little disappointed we didnt get more characters who have never been done as minifigures, but getting characters like daredevil and blade who we would probably never normally get makes up for it. And it gives me a chance to get figures from other sets without having to buy them. Such as i wanted sandman and mysterio but wanst actually interested in the Set they came with. So there is some pluses to it.
I think it’s great but we need a Spider-Man noir but at least if you use the fire ones torso and Spider-Man’s head and legs you get the triathlon version of Spider-Man seen in homecoming
You all want a Stan Lee minifigure right? Well what about this: A lego tribute set to Stan Lee, Maybe the final set in the Infinity Saga series idk. Either way, a brick built Iron man helmet, small captain America shield, three claws sticking out of the ground, Lighting from above by a hammer could be applied on a large rocky baseplate with many other brick built references to other heroes, all popping out of the ground in a explosion comic-book panel style, while having Stan Lee as the only figure in the middle with it all, with his pen and a printed "shocker gauntlet" representing the infinity gauntlet, to do one last excelsior. The set could be called A man of Tomorrow and I bet you right now that It would sell!
They couldn't have everyone in the Spider-Man universe. They couldn't have Reed, Bobby, Harry, Ben, Kaine, Jessica, Kitty, MJ, etc. There are so many characters in the Spider-Man universe, it would be impossible to include them all. They made as many as they could in one set. Maybe we'll get the Occorp Tower, or the Parker House, or Parker Industries, or the Baxter Building at some point so they can include more characters that we didn't get in this set.
I wished they would’ve included alfred molina’s doc ock and willem dafoe’s green goblin since in nwh willem got a new look so we’re probably never getting a 2002 spider-man green goblin anymore 😢
Im building this set right now and I think they could have easily added kraven and scorpion since they already made the figures. My dream would have been a big fig rhino tho.
Personally, I was on the fence about this, the thing that tipped the balance for me and guaranteed that I'm picking it up is the fact that Punisher is in it. If he wouldn't have been in it, I wouldn't have gotten it.
i would have lost my mind if they had included iceman in this set he is my favorite marvel character and i am always so devastated by him not being in any sets
I feel like they should have done silk instead of spider-ham. The nature of her character's backstory means she would probably only ever be in an 18+ set.
I actually see no flaws with this set. I think it is the best set ever made and i really dont mind the minifigurer since we got many exclusives like DD and punisher and many of the characters i dont actually own like doc ock and mysterio. I am so greatfull!
I dont want a big fig venom, i want a venom with a sculpted head, think similar to azog from the lotr lego series. Punisher is awesome, never thought we'd ever get him, i personally think he should have just come with a white belt with the pouches

I actually have this set rn, and it took 4 days worth to build it (constant interruptions and work ), but it was worth it. As for the minifig roster, I think the picks were decent, we finally got the punisher and daredevil, not to mention black cat, blade, and firestar.
I wish they renewed some villains in this set like they did with characters in 2018 and 2021, they could have brought back scorpion and Kraven with new prints

Another reason why the DB is classified as grey in this set is because it's based on the comic versions that had a nice grey DB

Classic Electro, Big Fig Rhino, and Big Fig Venom are all I would’ve wanted in this set. But I know Big Figs are more expensive to make than repeating a minifig so i kinda get why they didn’t do it
I would have added an exclusive villain minifigure, I know black cat is kind of a villain but I don't counter her. Maybe shocker or classic electro.
I would've loved a ps4 spiderman kind of electro maybe with a transparent head piece?
I really want classic Shocker, classic Rhino, classic Electro, classic Lizard, classic Morbius, classic Kingpin, and classic Chameleon. If we get those, then with all the prior released villains...we'd have PRETTY MUCH all the biggest major playing villains in their classic looks. I was hoping for an Iceman since Firestar was included as well.

I really wish we got a deadpool or human torch instead of firestorm I think that would be really cool
the inner spider-man year 2000 game in me is disappointed that scorpion and the symbiotes from the game arent in the set. But the rest of me knows that the symbiotes are a bit too much on the obscure side, although I have no idea why scorpion isnt there.
The other reason he didn’t do the wedge shaped bugle is because in the comic books it is a rectangular prism

On his videos is actually the first time I've ever commented on a youtube video. Anyway, I am a huge fan of learning how and why Lego does certain things. Understanding helps with my forgiveness on certain things, I.E. color and which minifigs. Great video, and your tan indeed looks better. I'll be doing a color swap after we move and i build the set.
Captain Stacy and Eddie Brock would have been amazing in this set
Im a little disappointed we didnt get more characters who have never been done as minifigures, but getting characters like daredevil and blade who we would probably never normally get makes up for it. And it gives me a chance to get figures from other sets without having to buy them. Such as i wanted sandman and mysterio but wanst actually interested in the Set they came with. So there is some pluses to it.
If it’s supposed to represent a skyscraper, which is how it looks next to other LEGO modular buildings, then it shouldn’t have the fire escape.

I think it’s great but we need a Spider-Man noir but at least if you use the fire ones torso and Spider-Man’s head and legs you get the triathlon version of Spider-Man seen in homecoming

A lego tribute set to Stan Lee, Maybe the final set in the Infinity Saga series idk. Either way, a brick built Iron man helmet, small captain America shield, three claws sticking out of the ground, Lighting from above by a hammer could be applied on a large rocky baseplate with many other brick built references to other heroes, all popping out of the ground in a explosion comic-book panel style, while having Stan Lee as the only figure in the middle with it all, with his pen and a printed "shocker gauntlet" representing the infinity gauntlet, to do one last excelsior. The set could be called A man of Tomorrow and I bet you right now that It would sell!

My favorite show when I was little was Spider-Man and his amazing friends. So it’s cool to see firestar but sad iceman isn’t included
They couldn't have everyone in the Spider-Man universe. They couldn't have Reed, Bobby, Harry, Ben, Kaine, Jessica, Kitty, MJ, etc. There are so many characters in the Spider-Man universe, it would be impossible to include them all. They made as many as they could in one set. Maybe we'll get the Occorp Tower, or the Parker House, or Parker Industries, or the Baxter Building at some point so they can include more characters that we didn't get in this set.
Wait did anyone know about Firestar? Does no one remember Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends?
They should have added a random civilian named “Stanley” and made him look suspiciously alike to Stan Lee.

Im building this set right now and I think they could have easily added kraven and scorpion since they already made the figures. My dream would have been a big fig rhino tho.
Personally, I was on the fence about this, the thing that tipped the balance for me and guaranteed that I'm picking it up is the fact that Punisher is in it. If he wouldn't have been in it, I wouldn't have gotten it.

I feel like they should have done silk instead of spider-ham. The nature of her character's backstory means she would probably only ever be in an 18+ set.
Everytime Lego rerelease venom, they lose their chance at adding a big fig venom
I actually see no flaws with this set. I think it is the best set ever made and i really dont mind the minifigurer since we got many exclusives like DD and punisher and many of the characters i dont actually own like doc ock and mysterio. I am so greatfull!

I dont want a big fig venom, i want a venom with a sculpted head, think similar to azog from the lotr lego series. Punisher is awesome, never thought we'd ever get him, i personally think he should have just come with a white belt with the pouches
