    The best tips is to find a real job because these companies are milking drivers and lowering their rates every year. Find a real job period.

      I would agree that rideshare is NOT a full time job or career choice for anyone especially during these times, with that said it can still be as it was intended to be a great side hustle. Thx for the comment!!

    Good info even tho I’ve been driving for 2 years, but still can learn a little something.

      Always something to learn out here, the game is always changing. I know I'm constantly pivoting as we go.

    I actually think because of inflation and rising costs, more customers will be choosing to ride regular uber & lyft instead of the higher tiers. Just a thought. Also with rising gas prices, i think many drivers will be leaving… so uber & lyft may start giving better bonuses to retain drivers.

      Very valid points, I just read a hit piece also on Uber(Lyft) and will do a video on that later today. Inflation always hits the "fun" dollar first and we are feeling it. Thx for the comment!!!

    Thx for the tips. What should I do here? Last night I went to pickup someone who then told me it wasn't for her but for a guy with groceries. He looked/acted like a borderline homeless guy. She loaded them in my trunk and I proceeded to give the ride. He starts eating a bag of chips leaving some crumbs I had to clean out later. Then his stench started to make the air unpleasant. Arrived at his place and tells me to reverse into the driveway. Then tells me to bring a shopping cart that was on the lawn over to the trunk then I loaded his items and proceeded to leave but then tells me to bring up his porch. I had to lift the cart up a few steps (I did most of heavy lifting) then got it there and proceeded to leave but then he says to help bring it inside his home which required another lift. Once it was inside his front door I left and he didn't even say thanks. My car smelled so bad I had to roll the windows down. I decided to end the end after that because I didn't want the next rider to endure any possible left over bad smell. Of course the early 20 something yr old grocery employee who ordered the Uber for him didn't know what I went through and got no tip. I feel stupid for even giving her a 4 star rating..should I report this Uber? I learned from this experience that I should carry some sort of a small fragrance spray.

      That put you in a really tough position as I have had that once only. I had to drive a passenger that was going to the next town because a good person paid for a ride for them. You have to make that decision at that time whether to do the ride or not and hope Karma swings back your way.

    Thank you Vinny. Cool video. I'm about to enter as a Uber/Lyft Driver. I have a 2015 Lexus ES350 (not the best on mileage, but not the worst either). I've been struggling financially and I need to do something ASAP. Do you think I can make $300 in one week in Miami? and in how many hours? Thank you for the information, stay safe.

    • @VinnyKuzz
      @VinnyKuzz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes especially on the weekends, shouldn't take many hours over the 2 days just remember it is summer now so things are slowing down. I don't know what timeframe you are working but let me know and I will give you my opinion where it will be better to start. Thx for the comment!!

      You can do it bro it’s summer right now and I drive Lyft only and I’m in Miami I made like $340 in 2 days I usually do 8 hour shift and I start at 4:30-5 am

    Hey Vinny ! Do you know if uber still have that hub in Windwood? Or Lift where they have their hub?.
    Thank you!

    • @VinnyKuzz
      @VinnyKuzz  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, Uber still has their hub in Wynwood,2200 NW 2nd Ave #111, Miami, FL 33127 and Lyft is slightly north of Wynwood on 42st street in the design district, 4201 NW 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33127.

    Thank you 🙏 I think they steal drivers money and cheat them with those small bonuses it is now two months drive with Lyft when they offer $9 bonus they give me the ride with 15 miles pick up passenger just happened today when they did this I closed the app and came home this is just an example there is Many other issue the same think since I started lost money instead make money my car use more gas when drive

    Best tip? Walk away while you can kid. These are dark times for uber and lyft drivers. I reccomend food delivery tbh.

    • @VinnyKuzz
      @VinnyKuzz  ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't disagree with that, people definitely still order for delivery. With the right vehicle and timeslots, im sure it profitable. Thx for the comment!!

    How do you all accept rides on Lyft if it doesn't tell you the mileage and amount is paying??? INSANITY

    • @VinnyKuzz
      @VinnyKuzz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is the way Lyft and Uber set it up so drivers wouldn't be able to cherry pick rides, It is a necessary evil or else drivers wont drive.
      If you have a high enough acceptance rating, you can see where you're going when the request comes thru. Thx for the comment!!

    • @J__7777
      @J__7777 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@VinnyKuzz not a necessary evil. Driver's suppose to be INDEPENDENT contractors. The contract being offer doesn't show the full details of the work order. How is this fkn possible?
      Well Uber shows me the amount and miles before accepting so its way better. And no I'm not going to accept blindly (not only not know what I'm making BUT NOT KNOW WHAT PART OF TOWN I'M GOING)
      I don't care about acceptance % I'm not doing any short rides for less than $7.

    • @VinnyKuzz
      @VinnyKuzz  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@J__7777 I dont disagree that its bad how they don't tell us where we are going but there is no way to get around it unless you have the trick?

    • @karismasingleton7789
      @karismasingleton7789 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I’m gold tier with a high acceptance rate for Lyft so I can see that a ride is for example “18 minutes south” versus just accepting a ride that says the name and rating

    • @VinnyKuzz
      @VinnyKuzz  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@karismasingleton7789 Correct. If you have the tier and acceptance rating, they will give time and direction. Good job on staying up there!

      I do roughly 50k a year part time driving and my vehicles are in very good condition so while I appreciate your comment and opinion, just because something doesn't work for you doesn't man the rest can't make it work. Thx for the comment!
