When I was playing the game I realised that the bradly took more hits from rocket launchers to kill than the m1a1, and also you can kill the m1a1 by shooting at the main gun mount with a machine gun, for some reason, and you can direct Bradley’s missile with your own rocket launcher laser so you don’t even have to worry about it hitting you with the missile... strange half life logic...
What about the M1A1 with the TOW launcher from Blue Shift? (However, there, the tank prefers to use the main gun and it is not clear why it was installed on the tower) Why not make sure that the first shot is fired from the top, and the second from the bottom of the installation and so on in a circle? By the way, in Half-life, one Abrams has a tank machine gun. It is used by the driver-mechanic.
Great work as always, Vrej. I am wondering how they'd fare against Combine gunships and Striders though - whenever I try to make a battle in GMOD the Combine win by default using those since there's no real counter (RPG citizens proving to be very inconsistent, no RPG HECU soldiers likewise).
Thank you, HECU are made more for Xen & Race X, they don't stand much chance against the Combine. Even in Half-Life's story, the world's armies were defeated in 7 hours by the Combine!
Funny thing is, the Combine forces seen in Half-Life 2 aren't even what was seen during the 7 Hour War. There are other synth types, including the crab synths and mortar synths that you can see on what look like Combine conveyor belts, probably being prepared for deployment since the Uprising was getting out of hand and the Combine were losing striders and soldiers.
@@VrejGaming The Combine probably had bigger numbers of synths on Earth during that war, as well as synth types not seen in combat during Half-Life 2. Taking down a combine gunship with a TOW missile would obviously not work out very well, as the missile wouldn't be as maneuverable as the laser-guided rocket launcher the rebels use and current TOW missiles aren't even manually guided anyway. Striders would probably die to a 120mm APFSDS round from an Abrams main battle tank, but that is assuming the strider isn't moving unpredictably and isn't shooting the tank.

Thank you for the kind words! Tank NPCs at the moment can't be moved with the NPC Mover tool. Maybe in the future I can find a reliable way to do it and include it in the tool!

(x2)' and if they keep shooting i crash? im also getting millions of other errors in the console about 'Attemped to precache unknown particle system'...the only mods i am using are half life resurgence and vj base

Will it be possible to change the looks of the grunts that come out of the Bradley? Like, giving them the Opposing Force grunt models instead of the LD HL1 ones, for example.
I did that because unlike irl, GMod maps aren't going to allow the missile to properly travel, instead I created dynamic heightened missile, allowing the missile to hit it's target in most maps

If it's an A3, it needs a CIV (Commander's Independent Viewer) on the right side of the turret. The vehicle should have at 3 vision cones, really.

No. HD and Op4 grunts look horrible. Non-HD Default Half-Life 1 grunts are way better.

I don't think the rockets of the Bradley should go up. Not irl not in the game it does that.
There are different types, I chose to go towards the lock on like behavior, similar to the one seen in Battlefield 3 and 4

Grenades are for balance, so human NPC can take them out, but it takes a lot of grenades to kill them
