Take your time I didn't get my license til I was 23 🙃 because the thought of driving scares me I just got my beetle yesterday I'm still nervous to drive it around but with time I'm sure we'll get use to it just do what works best for you ❤
The VW Beetle was not to go into production, it was just a prototype. Once VW saw how much was interest the car generated at car shows, they decided to manufacture it, and because of that, it wasn't completely engineered. I owned a 2006 model that I bought new, and it slowly began to fall apart. To change the headlight, you need to go to the dealership to have it replaced. The headliner falls down. On a cold day, the glovebox door's latching mechanism breaks off. The door handles fall off. The driver's seat mounting bracket breaks. The paint's clear coat peels off. I ended up giving it away to avoid having to deal with further issues with it.
Congrats on getting your first car my first car was actually a 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport TJ in white with a black hardtop. I miss her so much and right now I'm driving a 2007 Toyota Camry LE her name's Yuki and she's my pride and joy. 😊😊
My car has 90k miles. It honestly runs just fine, it idles a little but nothing that’s too noticeable or problematic. I’d say once the car has reached or is already over 100k, get it a tune up, that’s what I’m doing once my car hits 100k :))
I know how it feels my sister has anxiety too it toke a while to get her license. Her first car was a 2012 Volkswagen Beetle we got it brand new in April of 2012. We originally we going to get her a used 2009 Volkswagen Beetle. But we actually got a better deal on the brand new 2012 one. So we actually got it and surprise her with it on her 19 birthday.
I have one for sale..2001 beetle glx 1.8 turbo 5spd..needs a lil TLC..I've spent a ton of money on this thing..Advice to anyone with a beetle.. maintain it ..Find a good mechanic that you can trust.. Because its going to have issues..They are very delicate cars..But they are good cars..They have been around since 1938..
@@griergossetthey you could also install a back up camera, also apply car play. I’m trying to get a convertible beetle and will be adding apple car play to mines. If I get it hopefully 😅🤎
