    Thanks for explaining the different wave forms, Henning. Now I've got coffee in my nose and tears in my eyes 🤣

    I always love your reviews. I purchased this pedal and absolutely love it. Thanks!

    Unrelated to the pedal, it’s great to see craftsmen getting creative with the guitar. That thing is beautiful!

    What a awesome looking guitar. In terms of content, an “HP standard” (like i call it) that we all appreciate

    Once again Walrus has come up with a pedal that I don't need, until I a good reviewer, like yourself, shows me the possibilities.

    The impromptu foot on the switches. Stinking genius and hilariously brilliant. 👊🏼

    My mind is the SLÖEST. After watching your videos for years I finally realized that your TH-cam username is your initials spelled out phonetically. Wow. Also, I loved how you used the pedal. I need one of them suckers somethin’ fierce.

    Great sounding pedal, but they should have added expression pedal inputs for controlling the sliders. At least for the stretch one. Maybe in a version 2.

    I need to study up on fully understanding this technical terminology for the wave forms 😂🤣

  • @dragonsquare2802
    @dragonsquare2802 ปีที่แล้ว

    They should make a pedal called the slö-mo and which makes the sound like an epic slo-mo shot.. maybe including a ramp to an octave down modulation of the dry signal while making it really washy.

    I was just thinking of getting a stereo reverb and disappointed because I would have to replace my Slo. Perfect timing!
    Also I have a Slo and I use it as a "normal" reverb, you just have to use only the first 10% of the decay and mix knobs.

  • @sassycat
    @sassycat ปีที่แล้ว

    More fun than should be allowed by law. I was thinking that you could get those delay+reverb tones that the famous Pink guitarist does with the rain setting.
    Aw, Noodle made a friend!

    'can you use it musically if you're in a slayer cover band.....no' .... well i mean did you try turning the decay way down? if you do that then you get some rather normal reverb tails...at least i can with slotva... but i know what you're saying, the pedal is more for the crazy long reverb

    awesome vid covering this pedal, man
    it sounds "too diffuse" or something for my liking
    what do you think of it versus the R1, Fathom, and Descent (Walrus pedals)? (I have the R1 and Descent and love them.)
    that hilarious shirt triggers me, lol

    Cool, now I can leave the original one on my board and get this one to sit on my desk when I want to bring out my inner hippie. Please do a video just explaining audio waveforms using the style in this video. Also, I still can’t pronounce the damn name.

    I love this pedal, But how does it compare to Strymon Flint Tremolo and Reverb Pedal V2 ??? I am not sure which one to buy as of yet

    Not fair. Henning can make anything sound amazing…but I think that even I can get good sounds out of this (like I need another pedal).

    Keep watching videos for this pedal where the reviewer leaves an awful wobbly modulation on all the time. TURN THE DEPTH DOWN or LEARN HOW TO ADJUST IT TO SOUND USEFUL. They also slide the stretch control side to side, it goes WEEEEE, but no explanation of what it does in each mode. This one is no different. Sorry Henning, I like you but.....

    • @EytschPi42
      @EytschPi42  ปีที่แล้ว

      Stretch clearly changes the sampling rate and therefore changes pitch. It does exactly what I am doing with it

      @@EytschPi42 Thanks for your reply and apologies for using CAPS last time! 😏But my point was that you (and, so far, all other reviewers) have missed the point of this control completely. This pedal seems to be aimed at "ambient music" creators primarily. Ambient music often uses lots of "space" and reverbs can be heard in more detail than in pop, rock etc. Changing the sample rate in real time changes the pitch, as you say, but it's not meant for that. Changing the rate raises or lowers the reverb sound clarity/tone etc and is meant to be set for that sound and left where it is. It would have been much more useful if your review had shown more about this, with examples of the control in different positions on each algo'. Also, wobbly modulation. It is very niche. Even ambient guys don't use that much. Why leave these awful modulations on throughout the review. It just spoils all the examples. As I said, I usually love your reviews. Very thorough and a great way to spend way too much of my time! 🙂

    2023: a great reverb pedal that can do a lot of things and sounds with just 3 presets. What the f***... Walrus are you kidding? 3 presets?... I mean... 3 fuckin presets?... The horror pedal show keeps going on. 🤦
