You probably know this by now, but the Lock Unlock switch is what you have to hold over in order to turn the actual “SVC lights” ON, aka headlights. This is so if they’re out at night in hidden territory, someone doesn’t accidentally turn on the bright headlights. They run the blackouts instead.
Missing on one or two cylinders. Maybe a glow plug is out, that's why you have white smoke at start up and the shake in the motor. Cool purchase, i myself have a 2006 M1165.
Thanks for the comment. I actually went through just the other day and confirmed at least 2 glow plugs were bad, but you definitely called it quicker than I did haha. I appreciate the guidance!
Have a 2003 M1097A2 HUMVEE 2Door w/ Truck Body I just bought off GovPlanet. Sure you have been learning a lot since your purchase. Like to connect so we can share info on how to keep these running for years.
Have definitely learned a lot, but also have a lot to learn. I did resell the one I bought for a little profit. I will definitely be buying another soon. Would love to connect!!
I have no idea what you mean with the second part of that comment, however I do agree that I'm lacking a lot of knowledge on these, which is literally why I bought it. I get the chance to tinker on it and have commenters give me extra insight. All part of the process, so hopefully next time I'm a little less ignorant.

Haha, I definitely had to do some online research, but did find it out. It's quite a cool feature.
Good walk thru. And nice to know steps you had to take (tires battery)
Thank you!
