    I wonder if this is a rehearval for Remembrance Day. I'm not British - so I don't have a clue :)) Love the sounds of the hooves on the ground and of the drums from afar. And the British traditions anyway :))

    As a military child (my father was Coldstream Guards my mother was Royal Signals) and I am ex WRAF - I too love the pomp, ceremony and customs of my country. But following the death of QEII I cannot abide Charles and the woman he married (who is supposed to be consort not queen), and I don't think William deserves the throne either.

      They get paid whether they are out riding their horses or tucked up in the mess hall. That is what happens when you have a military force, THEY GET PAID regardless of what they are doing any specific time of day or night.

    I see the so called King is still in bed while everyone else is up and working !!
    The soldiers have to carry on all day they do get time to go back to bed....

      You do know he is reputed to only get around 4-5 hours sleep a night, or do you expect him to go without any at all.

      What a load of bull, if you believe he gets only 4/5 hours sleep some people will believe anything...
      The soldiers have to carry on working after being out very early in the morning they do not go back to bed or get a day off it's just a normal day for them....
      This so called king gets up when he wants and waited on hand&foot.....

      @@AveCaesar2025 One of the main reasons horses were fazed out is because they are such big targets! Sure some countries still have cavalrys,but they also use modern technology !
