The 2l-x can but you would need to make a adapter for it. The 1l-x could use aaa batteries I've got a 2l-x with the cr123s in my truck it was my daily edc light for about 4 years.. I'm currently using the hlx 1000 lumin
How much is the rechargeable battery for them I have 3 of them for hunting one for me one for the wife and one for my son and they go through battery’s like crazy I go through maybe 2-3 a year they go through 1-2 a week sometimes playing with there’s and have been thinking about getting the rechargeables
$25 is a crime. some of the best flashlight batteries are $10 and under. half the price of the flashlight new isnt a great deal@@theroamingtravelist153

After years of service my end cap button finally gave out. I called Streamlight and they shipped my a new end-cap….for free!!! Great service
Everybody has problems with the tail switch on these.

I think they were around $25 on amazon. Totally worth it! It will save you tons on batteries.
