- Let's open the S30 projector up and clean it up, this one worked good for five months until it gave off some awful fan noise...
Be careful when doing it yourselves,
you need previous experience...
the projector can be damaged otherwise in the very first step of just opening the case.

Thank you for this video, my S30Max arrived 2 days ago and it had a small black spot on the display, I just removed the back cover and vacuumed the spaces between the lenses and lcd. It looks perfect now 😁

@@ChiMediaProductions sometimes I hear some hissing noise I don't know if its static noise from the speaker or if it's the fan noise... I can hear it when I mute it too
@@danielleal7999 The fan inside comes very poorly lubricated, maybe half a drop of liquid lubricant, I've made a video on how to add adhesive grease to the shaft, the fan can almost not be heard after adding the new adhesive grease.
Think it would be possible to replace the led with a more powerful one?
Thank you for posting this, I received the S30 instead of the max version, and I wanted to know if I could possibly modify its system board so I could improve the overall UX and also use an In HDMI port.

Hi, I bought an S30 MAX, but the projector has no audio, I have to watch it with external audio. Do you have any recommendations?
Hi! The audio should work , the S30 has a built in speaker and HDMI to PC recognisable built in soundcard, if connected to the PC check sound output and choose the S30, if not make sure the 3.5mm audio output is not in use to use the external speakers... If all of these steps didn't work there might be a bad connection between the speaker and device.
Personally I don't recommend the internal speakers, theres no bass, and very pitchy...
My use of the projector is Netflix on the projector itself, so I exclude the HDMI connection problem. As for the 3.5mm problem, I don't know, but I only get audio when I connect something to the 3.5mm, if I remove it the projector is completely silent. Do you think this could be software or hardware?@@ChiMediaProductions
Is it possible to reinstall android? mine is restarting by itself until a moment comes and it locks the device
Great video. I was trying to checkout what kind of screen it uses and I was wondering if I could replace it for a true 1080p one. I saw that is pretty easy to dettach the screen and cable. Do you know screen size and model? I have a hongtop p10
Great & informative video. I wonder why there is a clear jell like substance painted on the inner surface of back cover and bottom part casing. Do you know what that is for?

How to repair white spots on screen ??
Hey there! Are the spots you're referring to caused by leaving the projector on for too long without watching anything?
They're usually patterns of images, the image has been burnt into (the plate) after the led lamp and before the magnifying lens,
These spots can also occur if oil happens to get there and burn the plate in the shape of the oil splash.
Dust and dirt will show up as dark spots.

Hi, i had a little question.
When you use the HDMI IN, the image shows at 60 fps or just at 30 fps?
I bought one S30 MAX last week but when i connect my PC through HDMI looks like 24 or 30 fps and i set windows config to 60hz but showing the same results.

I have the same - and i have the Problem, that my S30 shows no Light from the Lamp - i only hear the fans !! My Question now: GPU unit broke ?? Thx in Advance. Miki

Hey! I'm not sure, all though might be a faulty LED, you can use a multimeter to test the connection points of the LED projector lamp, if it gets power then you might have to replace the LED, otherwise there might be an issue with the mainboard... Hope this helps,Good luck!

Is the lens of this projector sealed?

I haven't tried to open the actual lens for the projector, because I haven't had any issues with it... Although dust easily sets on the screen and color plate every 4-6 months.
anyone would help me? my projector starts but for some reason the fan is stuck in just one velocity. So when i turn the light for more brightness, it starts blinking.
Hey! Hope you've already solved the issue...
The solution can be just a simple reset of the device or require some diagnostics,
Like checking for bad connections, temperature sensors condition, the actual condition of the fan... if you use your device daily and have a fan laying around, you can add an additional fan to temporarily solve the issue, if the projector accepts the setup then add a speed controller to the fan so that you can control the fan manually, just set it until it stops blinking...
What screen are you using to project onto? Does it have wrinkles

I'm using a non reflective white darkening curtain 😄.
I could recommend recommend reflective canvas screens, they work very well even when it's bright in the room...
does anyone has a problem with the wifi loosing connection when the bluetooth is on?, when i turn off the bluetooth the wifi goes back to normal and never disconnects
There should be no such issues, having both Bluetooth and wifi connected simultaneously, have you tried resetting it?

Mine too! I opened it, put a heatsink in the wifi/bluetooth chip and putted a New antenna to increase wifi signal. Yes, the wifi signal increased, but it still doing the same problem of you!
My projector makes a weird noise when i'm watching something with audio. It sounds like a very high frequency, but when i pause the noise stops. Can anyone help me?
I have a device of this model S30MAX and with a similar problem. The device turns on, the lights come on, they show the android logo and then the lights turn off but the device continues to work, including the cooler. Would it be a problem with the motherboard, since the device starts by turning on the lights?
