I have listened to Angelina since she was 7! The first song I heard her do reminded me of Billy Holiday. This one reminded me of Adele. I'm going to listen again to this. Very beautifully done! It's too bad that someone would leak something she didn't want out there, but I must say I'm happy I got to hear it! Angelina has a very beautiful voice. Everybody likes this, a lot, except Angelina because of the lyrics. That’s why you find only this leaked video. And that is a good reason why many don’t ask reaction to it.
She's such a young, innocent girl. That's what we love about her. She didn't realize it was about suicide at first, just like you were sort of wondering about the lyrics. Once she learned that, it was decided not to release it or to perform it again. This version was leaked and someone put together the amateur video to go with the soundtrack. Probably the same reason she doesn't perform Gloomy Sunday anymore. We, her fans, support her in her decision by not promoting this performance, as great as it is.

At 6:51, my heart jumps from its cage, my soul dances out of my spirit, i felt strangled by an intense emotion and an unlimited admiration for Angelina, the number one vocal artist of this generation. I am amazed by her versatile easiness to change her voice in accordance with the lyrics as well as the pronunciation of certain words in order to produce a particular effect. She has done the same changes in some other songs, mainly in This is a Man s World and, very recently, in Goodbye Yellow Brick Road!

To make everything short Angelina never approved the publishing of this track for it was made as a demo song. But somebody leaked it to the dismay of Angelina camp. And I read somewhere she will never sing the song again. I'm sure somebody here will do a detailed explanation of this. But again I must agree.... This is one of her MOST beautiful track.

We all pretty much feel the same way about this one I think. Something very special about her vocals in this. Angelina always knows when she has aced something so imagine her knowing how good this is, while she is building her career, and still deciding to nix it. Nothing sub par about this young lady.
The story about this song is this. Angelina was working with Frida Amundsen, Aksel Carlson and Ronny Jansen on her original "Shield". At the same time these 3 songwriters worked with BabyFuzz on "I'm Holding Out For You". BabyFuzz created the lyrics and was looking for a singer. So the songwriters sent the song to Angelina so she could make a demo putting her voice to it. She did and they got the demo back. For some reason someone snatched it and posted it on Reddit. There a fan grabbed it and posted it on TH-cam. It was copied by other fans. Angelina changed her mind saying she didn't want her name on the song because of the lyrics at the end about drowning oneself. So Michael Astar told TH-cam to remove the leaked video. It was removed, but later the video you see now was posted based on the leaked video. BabyFuzz ended up releasing the song singing it himself. He said he had never heard of Angelina being considered for singing his song. Others said he refused to alter the end lyrics so Angelina could sing it. A great song, but controversial among her fans because her family went to TH-cam to have it removed. They stay away from it out of respect of Angelina.

@@yousurf374 Yes we do. One big Angelina fan asked Angelina's mother about this and she said Angelina refused to have her name related to the song because of the end lyrics. I guess she would know. Which evidence do we have Angelina was only 10 when singing this song ? BabyFuzz got inspiration to the song late February 2016 at the Larm festival. The song with the music might have been ready at the Summer of 2016 at the earliest. Then he said he spent several years trying to get a big artist to sing it. Angelina was probably not first on his list. BabyFuzz says he hadn't heard of Angelina being considered for the song. What we do know is that the music writers of I'm Still Holding Out For You also wrote the music for Angelina's own Shield. So they got to know Angelina because of the Shield assignment. They knew BabyFuzz struggled with finding a great singer for his song and knew from Shield Angelina was awesome. It's not unlikely they suggested to Angelina to just sing a demo of the BabyFuzz song. Probably without BabyFuzz even knowing about it. That is more likely to be 2017 or early 2018 since it was the time Shield was worked on. Angelina sung an early version of Shield as early as 2016, but not with the melody of the final version. Some said one reason for Angelina to refuse to have anything to do with the song was because she had lost a friend to suicide after the demo recording. That could have been Avicii who was her friend. He died on April 20th 2018. Babyfuzz released his version November 30th 2018. So it's plenty of time for Angelina to sing the demo some time in 2017 only to change her mind after April 20th 2018 before the song got recorded officially. It's not natural for BabyFuzz to sing himself. So something made him decide to do it to get the song out. We can all agree Angelina performed this song so much better than him. BabyFuzz is a very good songwriter, but not a good singer. He finished the song in 2016 and spent a lot of time trying to get a big singer to perform it. He wasn't successful so early 2018 he decided to sing it himself. Anyway, the only thing that matters is that Angelina doesn't want her name related to the song. She feels this so strongly Michael Astar managed to get TH-cam to block the leaked demo video posted. The video here was made of a fan using the sound from the leaked video. This demo was leaked from the studio, the song was not released because her mother did not approve that she sing it because of the lyrics, she thinks that it was not appropriated for a young girl to sing that song. At the same time, it appears that they are not fighting it, I download the video when it was released on TH-cam thinking it will be gone in no time but it was not, so I don,t know what to think about it. I can't stop listening to that song, this is sooooo good. This is what we call a bootleg.

Although this showcases Angelina's jazzy side, the lyrics are the sore point here...the reference to drowning was the focal point. Angelina tried to get the composer to alter the lyrics, but was refused. So she refused to perform it again. The video was "leaked" somehow, and thus the title. I have a conflicted response to this...I love her performance, but I acknowledge her role as an artist to choose her songs. So let your conscience be your guide...

Brandon Lowry (Sterling Fox) wrote this song and put it out for artist. Angelina was one of the very few if not the only artist who picked it up. She recorded it but turned it down because of the age appropriateness of the lyrics. Somehow it was "LEAKED" . Brandon then recorded it and released it under his stage name Baby Fuzz. That is how I understand it.

The songwriter is by Aksel Calson. This video is the only sample volume from Angelina on TH-cam. After the text for Angelina was not changed, Angelina rejected the song in the original version and never sang it again. Angelina had big problems with the oppressive Lyric (suicide). Angelina always changes the texts of the covers with which she has problems (e.g. Back to Black, Rehab, Bohemian Rhapsody etc.) When Angelina was 11 years old, her mother explains in an interview that only Angelina decides what she sings and in the end she sings the songs only as she imagines. It's also a reason why Angelina has her own record label ANGELINA JORDON INC.
She recorded this a couple years ago when she was 11-12. I love the pictures they put this song with. She is just amazing and I run out of words to describe what she does to me inside when she sings. It's not the video that is leaked .. it's the audio track. Angelina made a demo recording for Baby FuzZ in 2016, but she didn't like the lyrics at the end and asked if he could re-write the last verse. There were no changes made to the lyrics and Baby FuzZ recorded the song himself 2 years later. The demo recording has found it's way to TH-cam with this slideshow of random pictures. Now that the official song is published, she could do a "cover" with improvised lyrics to her liking, like she did with some Amy Winehouse songs. I just love this song!
Unfortunately, it is not that unusual that the artist is uncomfortable with, sick and tired of or simply does not like one of his or her best songs. This is a brilliant performance by Angelina, one of her very best, but apparently not in her own opinion. If the problem is the lyrics in the final part - well, change them, as she has done in other cases. This beautiful song should be released again, and with a proper video.
This song was also not hers, she asked that the lyrics that actually bothered her be changed but the author declined, she was not at liberty to demand it as she didn't have any rights to it and make the call herself, so change them herself was "not" an option she had available. As i recall it had also not been published yet at the time this was recorded, so yea, she couldn't change the lyrics at will without permission.

I said I wasn't sure about it the first time I heard it, but each time after that, I liked it more and more. As far as "favorite" that Angelina does, I would be hard pressed to name just one, because I like almost every one of them. Actually, only 2 that I'm not really fond of, and those aren't up for debate. Just my preference.

While I agree with Angelina's stance of not promoting suicide, I also understand that she is too young to have experienced a love so profound that when lost almost makes you prefer to die than to go on living without the one you love. I know I went through that experience myself, when I was in my early 20's, so I get the lyrics are NOT literally intended to mean suicide, but drowning one's sorrows (in alcohol, in misery, in whatever). It is not about killing oneself, but killing the pain of loss. Seen from this perspective, I think the lyrics make more sense. If you listen to the entire lyrics, it says "And even if when you take my breath away, I'll still keep breathing..." which tells me this person has no intention of dying. But, I can see how the final lyrics can be misinterpreted. People who are in pain, never see the positive, just the negative; so they may not get the true meaning of the song. And while I say she is too young to have experienced the loss of a love so strong, she has the uncanny ability to make you feel like she has... and that is the real magic of Angelina. I hope she one day understands this and decides to make an official track because I agree, this is probably one of her best performances so far. Though I do love her song Shield too. Still, kudos to Baby Fuzz and his team because this is like the sculpture of "Moses" from Michael Angelo, so beautiful and life like that even Michael Angelo threw his hammer and chisel at it and yelled "SPEAK!". Well, Angelina was the voice the spoke for this masterpiece by Baby Fuzz; and her voice was true to the masterpiece.
Here in Norway they got help to make a demo or thier own song record, in eally ages, with parents guidance and wrote with thier own even the are young singer, and the bank finance of them with parents agarantee if there childrens very good in music almost the hole community helping them to make a concern.. Music and dance its very popular in Norway the school system finansing them to go in the high school of music singing , and dancing, what Country have the best school of Dancing and music..

I asked Angelina about this song when I saw her in LA and she mentioned to me that she will not be performing this song again. Wow, never realized that lyrics are actually suicidial. I mean I understand the lyrics yes, but... I never took them so literally. And even if it has a suicidial meaning.. So what? Everybody likes this, a lot, except Angelina because of the lyrics. That’s why you find only this leaked video. And that is a good reason why many don’t ask reaction to it.
She's such a young, innocent girl. That's what we love about her. She didn't realize it was about suicide at first, just like you were sort of wondering about the lyrics. Once she learned that, it was decided not to release it or to perform it again. This version was leaked and someone put together the amateur video to go with the soundtrack. Probably the same reason she doesn't perform Gloomy Sunday anymore. We, her fans, support her in her decision by not promoting this performance, as great as it is.

At 6:51, my heart jumps from its cage, my soul dances out of my spirit, i felt strangled by an intense emotion and an unlimited admiration for Angelina, the number one vocal artist of this generation.
I am amazed by her versatile easiness to change her voice in accordance with the lyrics as well as the pronunciation of certain words in order to produce a particular effect. She has done the same changes in some other songs, mainly in This is a Man s World and, very recently, in Goodbye Yellow Brick Road!

To make everything short Angelina never approved the publishing of this track for it was made as a demo song. But somebody leaked it to the dismay of Angelina camp. And I read somewhere she will never sing the song again. I'm sure somebody here will do a detailed explanation of this. But again I must agree.... This is one of her MOST beautiful track.

We all pretty much feel the same way about this one I think. Something very special about her vocals in this. Angelina always knows when she has aced something so imagine her knowing how good this is, while she is building her career, and still deciding to nix it. Nothing sub par about this young lady.

The story about this song is this. Angelina was working with Frida Amundsen, Aksel Carlson and Ronny Jansen on her original "Shield". At the same time these 3 songwriters worked with BabyFuzz on "I'm Holding Out For You". BabyFuzz created the lyrics and was looking for a singer.
So the songwriters sent the song to Angelina so she could make a demo putting her voice to it. She did and they got the demo back. For some reason someone snatched it and posted it on Reddit. There a fan grabbed it and posted it on TH-cam. It was copied by other fans.
Angelina changed her mind saying she didn't want her name on the song because of the lyrics at the end about drowning oneself. So Michael Astar told TH-cam to remove the leaked video. It was removed, but later the video you see now was posted based on the leaked video.
BabyFuzz ended up releasing the song singing it himself. He said he had never heard of Angelina being considered for singing his song. Others said he refused to alter the end lyrics so Angelina could sing it.
A great song, but controversial among her fans because her family went to TH-cam to have it removed. They stay away from it out of respect of Angelina.

Baby Fuzz farmed it out to peddle it in 2016 (age 10)... he released HIS original in 2018 (Angelina age 12.)... Which evidence do we have Angelina was only 10 when singing this song ? BabyFuzz got inspiration to the song late February 2016 at the Larm festival. The song with the music might have been ready at the Summer of 2016 at the earliest. Then he said he spent several years trying to get a big artist to sing it. Angelina was probably not first on his list.
BabyFuzz says he hadn't heard of Angelina being considered for the song. What we do know is that the music writers of I'm Still Holding Out For You also wrote the music for Angelina's own Shield. So they got to know Angelina because of the Shield assignment. They knew BabyFuzz struggled with finding a great singer for his song and knew from Shield Angelina was awesome. It's not unlikely they suggested to Angelina to just sing a demo of the BabyFuzz song. Probably without BabyFuzz even knowing about it. That is more likely to be 2017 or early 2018 since it was the time Shield was worked on. Angelina sung an early version of Shield as early as 2016, but not with the melody of the final version.
Some said one reason for Angelina to refuse to have anything to do with the song was because she had lost a friend to suicide after the demo recording. That could have been Avicii who was her friend. He died on April 20th 2018. Babyfuzz released his version November 30th 2018. So it's plenty of time for Angelina to sing the demo some time in 2017 only to change her mind after April 20th 2018 before the song got recorded officially.
It's not natural for BabyFuzz to sing himself. So something made him decide to do it to get the song out. We can all agree Angelina performed this song so much better than him. BabyFuzz is a very good songwriter, but not a good singer. He finished the song in 2016 and spent a lot of time trying to get a big singer to perform it. He wasn't successful so early 2018 he decided to sing it himself.
Anyway, the only thing that matters is that Angelina doesn't want her name related to the song. She feels this so strongly Michael Astar managed to get TH-cam to block the leaked demo video posted. The video here was made of a fan using the sound from the leaked video.

This demo was leaked from the studio, the song was not released because her mother did not approve that she sing it because of the lyrics, she thinks that it was not appropriated for a young girl to sing that song. At the same time, it appears that they are not fighting it, I download the video when it was released on TH-cam thinking it will be gone in no time but it was not, so I don,t know what to think about it. I can't stop listening to that song, this is sooooo good. This is what we call a bootleg.

Although this showcases Angelina's jazzy side, the lyrics are the sore point here...the reference to drowning was the focal point. Angelina tried to get the composer to alter the lyrics, but was refused. So she refused to perform it again. The video was "leaked" somehow, and thus the title. I have a conflicted response to this...I love her performance, but I acknowledge her role as an artist to choose her songs. So let your conscience be your guide...

Where is she? Every person who listens to this song or her other songs love her as I do. I have never heard her on the radio and she has never won a Grammy. She explodes on the internet and has millions of followers. Put her name out there and she is as good as gold for those who react to her. Brandon Lowry (Sterling Fox) wrote this song and put it out for artist. Angelina was one of the very few if not the only artist who picked it up. She recorded it but turned it down because of the age appropriateness of the lyrics. Somehow it was "LEAKED" . Brandon then recorded it and released it under his stage name Baby Fuzz. That is how I understand it.
I think this is the favorite for a lot of us. I heard it was a demo cut that was leaked. The video is a mish mash that was just tagged to the song.

The songwriter is by Aksel Calson. This video is the only sample volume from Angelina on TH-cam. After the text for Angelina was not changed, Angelina rejected the song in the original version and never sang it again. Angelina had big problems with the oppressive Lyric (suicide). Angelina always changes the texts of the covers with which she has problems (e.g. Back to Black, Rehab, Bohemian Rhapsody etc.) When Angelina was 11 years old, her mother explains in an interview that only Angelina decides what she sings and in the end she sings the songs only as she imagines. It's also a reason why Angelina has her own record label ANGELINA JORDON INC.

She recorded this a couple years ago when she was 11-12. I love the pictures they put this song with. She is just amazing and I run out of words to describe what she does to me inside when she sings. I have distilled it down to this, "She sings, I cry."
Angelina has said she will never sing this song again. If I could I would stay away from this song, but I am weak and can't help myself. I try to keep it down to only when i know It is a first time reaction and I know the reactor.

It's not the video that is leaked .. it's the audio track. Angelina made a demo recording for Baby FuzZ in 2016, but she didn't like the lyrics at the end and asked if he could re-write the last verse. There were no changes made to the lyrics and Baby FuzZ recorded the song himself 2 years later. The demo recording has found it's way to TH-cam with this slideshow of random pictures.

Unfortunately, it is not that unusual that the artist is uncomfortable with, sick and tired of or simply does not like one of his or her best songs. This is a brilliant performance by Angelina, one of her very best, but apparently not in her own opinion. If the problem is the lyrics in the final part - well, change them, as she has done in other cases. This beautiful song should be released again, and with a proper video.

This song was also not hers, she asked that the lyrics that actually bothered her be changed but the author declined, she was not at liberty to demand it as she didn't have any rights to it and make the call herself, so change them herself was "not" an option she had available.
As i recall it had also not been published yet at the time this was recorded, so yea, she couldn't change the lyrics at will without permission.

Pride also can play a factor in this stuff on occasion, perhaps Fuzz didn't think changing the lyrics was worth the payout offered and considered it a slight to him personally.
Anyway it is entirely possible the facts will never see light of day, i repeated what was rumoured, even if it is nothing but rumour that was all that was given to go on, one could claim it is one big giant hole.

@@leebrn8588, Everyone has their favorites, and I never said I liked "Above The Water" better than any other song, I was responding to what the original poster said in his comment. I said I wasn't sure about it the first time I heard it, but each time after that, I liked it more and more. As far as "favorite" that Angelina does, I would be hard pressed to name just one, because I like almost every one of them. Actually, only 2 that I'm not really fond of, and those aren't up for debate. Just my preference.

It does not make sense to me why her parents let her sing "Gloomy Sunday" at age 7 and then "Back to Black" later, and then along comes this beautiful sad song, and all of a sudden it is too "adult" for her to sing. This song alone proves that Angelina is so gifted at such a young age that she can go from jazz, to oldies, to classics, to mainstream songs in the blink of a eye with ease. She might have a child's body, but her super intelligence is that of a high intellect mature adult. had she recorded it, then it would have gone Platinum, sold millions of copies, and gave her the respect, and recognition she deserves, way beyond anything AGT Champions could do. While I agree with Angelina's stance of not promoting suicide, I also understand that she is too young to have experienced a love so profound that when lost almost makes you prefer to die than to go on living without the one you love. I know I went through that experience myself, when I was in my early 20's, so I get the lyrics are NOT literally intended to mean suicide, but drowning one's sorrows (in alcohol, in misery, in whatever). It is not about killing oneself, but killing the pain of loss. Seen from this perspective, I think the lyrics make more sense. If you listen to the entire lyrics, it says "And even if when you take my breath away, I'll still keep breathing..." which tells me this person has no intention of dying. But, I can see how the final lyrics can be misinterpreted. People who are in pain, never see the positive, just the negative; so they may not get the true meaning of the song.
And while I say she is too young to have experienced the loss of a love so strong, she has the uncanny ability to make you feel like she has... and that is the real magic of Angelina. I hope she one day understands this and decides to make an official track because I agree, this is probably one of her best performances so far. Though I do love her song Shield too.
Still, kudos to Baby Fuzz and his team because this is like the sculpture of "Moses" from Michael Angelo, so beautiful and life like that even Michael Angelo threw his hammer and chisel at it and yelled "SPEAK!". Well, Angelina was the voice the spoke for this masterpiece by Baby Fuzz; and her voice was true to the masterpiece.
Here in Norway they got help to make a demo or thier own song record, in eally ages, with parents guidance and wrote with thier own even the are young singer, and the bank finance of them with parents agarantee if there childrens very good in music almost the hole community helping them to make a concern.. Music and dance its very popular in Norway the school system finansing them to go in the high school of music singing , and dancing, what Country have the best school of Dancing and music..
I'm glad it wasn't released. Angelina is too "alive" for a repertoire of morbid songs. Kudos to her and family for withdrawing it. Il Silenzio is a beautiful song but it's still "Taps" and not something to be dwelled upon. We all know life is not a bowl of cherries but that doesn't mean you have to brood over the pits. Long live the velvet Valkyrie!

This is a Grammy worthy song. However, she is too young for the lyrics. We can wait until our girl matures and another great song will come along for her.
This song is by BABY FUZZ th-cam.com/video/q5HsABS4OXQ/w-d-xo.html who wanted Angelina to perform it. After a demo was recorded, Angelina was not very comfortable with the lyrics as they might encourage mentally or emotionally disturbed people to commit suicide. She wanted to change the lyrics but Baby Fuzz refused. She did not approve of its release, however the song was leaked. I asked Angelina about this song when I saw her in LA and she mentioned to me that she will not be performing this song again. This is probably the same reason why she never performed Gloomy Sunday again after Norway Got Talent. Too bad. Maybe one day she will release it with different lyrics. Wow, never realized that lyrics are actually suicidial. I mean I understand the lyrics yes, but... I never took them so literally. And even if it has a suicidial meaning.. So what? Does art always have to be happy as a puppy? The hardest feelings and experiences often bring out brilliant masterpieces.
I think the world has gone a bit crazy. I get if she herself doesn't feel comfortable to sing a song which means something depressive or negative or anappropriate to her. But when the critique comes from others.... Well they just have dismissed the fact that Angelina has an amazing skill to sing a song from her own perspective and to give it a totally new meaning. If she sang Gloomy sunday at age of 7 I never thought what this song really was about. How about bang bang? It's a bad song too, isn't it? So what? Let's put on a face that she never gave us those amazing performances and emotions? Never happened? Don't know... Feels a bit exaggerated to me.
Anyway. This particular piece of art is one of my favourites too. I truly hope she'll be able to fix the part of the lyrics and sings it again. It's just so-soooo perfect! I enjoy every second of it
