@Jim1971a... While I don't have Premium TH-cam, with the "NO ADS", I DO have the extension "AdBlock" app on my phone AND on my computer. It does the same as "Premium" does but mine is FREE and I don't have to give my hard earned $ money to be able to achieve what you pay for. It blocks all ads on TH-cam, my emails, Facebook, Google and anything I want. It's really quite nice when I go to watch a video and it goes straight to the video and with no interruptions while the video plays, either. I don't have ads...but more importantly...I don't pay money for mine being ad free, like you do. Have a great day my friend!!! 🍁🌼🍂🎃🧡👍🏻
Whew! Another challenging for the DA. I think it's the first time I've ever seen the hose blow on the reel! That would scare the **** out of me! A bit of a repair or 2 and back in business. Good to see Rats helping on this one. Thank you for the video! Blessings..........
I think intrigue requires a follow up Oliver. I would just love to see those guys cutting the concrete and replacing the pipe. The hose bursting was a frightener. I started to get a tingling of ye olde claustrophobia after seeing all that dirt held back by that flimsy concrete wall, and those narrow corridors. Great video once again Oliver. I liked the bit trying to close the case.
I'm glad there was nothing down there when you went through it's such a dark and dank place I was concerned that something might come round the corner😅😅😅😅😅
Great Job! They must be happy when they see you the ("Drain Whisperer") arrive. The job will be done well and good, on time, proper job well done for sure. Greetings from Philomath Oregon!🔥🪠💦💯
ollie, looks like you will need to put in a request to the boss for some new hoses, and maybe the ratty and mouse man will help clean and organise the van as well. you could even invite Gavin down for a working holiday and have him help set up the van with a similar storage system that he has for his ute. but another great video, thanks.
Contractors do it all the time it's either concrete ,or dry wall mud or broken tiles ,then expect Ollie to perform miracles , The contractor doesn't sound very happy 3 to 4 meters will have to be cut out and pipe replaced we'll see ,anyway it's out of Ollie's hands
Had the contractor not dumped it in the drain in the first place, he wouldn’t be replacing it. And if I was the owner, I’d get Ollie’s pictures and the repair would on the contractor for being douche.
I have seen this trick before, it is known as the "I didn't get paid by somebody" treatment, or a very unlucky concrete crew hit it and had half a yard disappear down in the ground without realizing it.
unless there was a drain near the corner they covered over and let fill, that looked like a pipe broke/separated and the concrete just ran in so far. could be someone missed a glue joint or barely had it inserted and it simply pushed apart, also possible it could have been cracked by someone dropping junk or stepping on it. heavy concrete is great at finding flaws in piping. 🤔
Ollie. About 2 years ago you had to unblock a storm drain at the bottom of a driveway that had concrete in it, I remember you saying that you had a nozzle that could smash concrete. Am I just reminding it wrong or did you have something? In the video you removed pieces of concrete about 20cm long but even then they needed to use acid for some reason. Glad the hose didn't cause any harm, maybe some brown trousers. 🥴👍
@Silkx I hope the difficult times are in the rear vision mirror for you and times are getting better for you! Remember every new day is a brand new start/chapter in our lives. 👍👍
I see Ratty 🐀 on the other end, sitting there, watching and waiting to let you know when it becomes unblocked and the water goes down, lol! Our little friend is on the ball today, eh?!
nice unscheduled shower when the hose broke, at least it wasn't sewage water! 🤪 probably best to cut off about a couple feet(1/2 meter) when a hose end blows, the end sections always get the most flexing abuse and stress.
Hey mate nice work. Dont use sulfuric acid. Theres a product called Croc crete at Reece 👍 I also got some heavy duty hose and cable protectors off Vevor. 3 is enough for single lane and 1 for a footpath. Plus it gives kids something to jump on their pushy 😅 👍
"No, I'll use acid." "You should just cut it open and renew it." "No, I'll use acid." "The acid is going to cost $1000." "So yeah, the concrete cutter will be here tomorrow." "Good plan."
Someone design a weighted chisel head with backwards jets only, so Ollie can pull it back, make some speed with the jets and bash the concrete to bits :D
Ollie you might want to think about putting a short piece of braided steel hose on your real that would hold up to the pressures when you're shutting off the real
Goodmorning Oliver, Ratty and Baby Rat. *Solid concrete!* Nasty stuff! Thanks for this new video. I watched it and 👍 it. Best wishes from the Netherlands
You would think the designers of the building would just use the floor of the passageway to carry water away with no pipes needed until leaving the building. Perhaps you need one or more hook-shaped gadgets to screw on the end of the hose for tugging on foreign objects instead of simply relying on the reverse nozzle’s hooklike shape. These could have hinged and spring-loaded hooks that could squeeze by the object and then spring open for the pull back. They should be of breakaway design in case you wind up behind an object that is jammed so much that it is immovable, otherwise you will lose the hose. Those would be relatively cheap to make such that a set of different shapes/sizes would be affordable for your jetting brethren. Call them Olliegators.
So much unexpected excitement!!! Hose bursting, baby rat taking a dive, and the first fix not working. Ollie always takes care of the job, even if it is past what the jetter can physically do! Love the videos and love the work. All Good!!! 🐁👍🐀 Only missing the 🌽.
G'day Ollie. This wasn't a Frank special was it(you talked about a stitch up)? When the hose blew not only did I jump but the ads decided that was the perfect time to show the longest one yet.So glad you're both OK if a little wet. Didn't you have a spinner nozzle that broke up concrete, or is this concrete too strong?Ratty and Baby Rat did a good job of helping you. Have a great week.Safe unplugging.👍👍👍
Hydrochloric acid will dissolve concrete somewhat, perhaps enough for you to dislodge it with the jetter. Problem is the amount of water you have sitting there, and what it may do to the environment.
Ollie, you seem to run into concrete often enough to warrant a tool specifically made for it. Since it is very hard and brittal and the plastic pipe is not as brittle, perhaps a combination of a hammer drill with one of your rotating models up front might work. There is a good machine at youtuber down there named Kurtis cee cutting edge engineering. Just saying.

Sorry Ollie you had another rough day, May God bless you and tomorrow be much better day
Ollie.... I got an absolute fit of laughing watching you trying to close that crimper case. I mean, I just couldn't stop laughing. 😂
Ollie is one untidy monkey! 😂
I like the new angle shots you have been showing.
What a weird place. Great setup for a Halloween movie.
If it wasn't so serious ,I'd say ratboy might've been around the corner somewhere.
Excellent video Ollie, Ratty and Baby Rat. A brilliant start to the day 🧡
Great Effort, Ollie. 👍🙏
Oh SNAP, literally! If that doesn’t get your heart pumping.
Well that had a concrete solution! You did well and it is always cool to see a hose repair or two! All Good 👍! (Sort of)
Right when I think I was going to get a DA Certification. Using the plunger to catch the concrete. Boss man sticks a board in there.😮

Man when that hose blew up TH-cam was smart enough to put an ad there haha I just had to see what happened after that
Possibly time for a new hose ? 😮
Same here. It sounded like a grenade.
Get TH-cam premium. I don’t have ads.

Great work identifying the blockage. Ratty and baby rat were in good form 🐀!
