Hey everyone! Since this is my first video here on TH-cam I'd really appreciate comments and ratings to see how I'm doing. Thanks. :)

Edit: I never move! Not once in the entire video or any of these videos do I ever press any single button or move a control stick. (Accept the A button once to START the level, of course.) Not even at the fan favorite of 1:20. Watch my other video "Removing the Door" to see why Ninja man moves as he does.

So, I had been watching these crazy "Automatic Mario" videos where Mario was forced through a level so crazy that if it weren't controlled he would die practically instantly, or not be able to finish the level.
So, of course, I just HAD to make a level like that for N+, a game for the Xbox 360 Live Arcade.
What you see is that creation in effect. So long as you do not touch your controller, except to control the camera, you will not die.
Anyway, I find it highly entertaining to just watch. Even though I know Ninja Man will make it every time, I still go crazy when he barely dodges death. :)
I enjoyed making this level so much that I will definitely will be making another one. If anyone has any suggestions or requests I'll try and make them a reality. Oh, but no multi-player versions. I made one for this map but, of course, the game is far too laggy online to handle such precision timing, and I died in the first set of mines constantly.
The below is just a little fiction I came up with while making the level. I think it makes it more interesting, at the very least.
"Far into the future, Gold is rare. Nearly all of the rooms which contained this valuable treasure have been cleaned out by the Ninja kind.
Only One piece of Gold remains. The first piece ever made. Gold One. A piece of Gold so treasured that its value is worth millions that of a single piece of regular gold.
However, this piece had long since been sealed into a room of such danger that even the creators dared not enter, despite being masters of N themselves.
Thousands have died attempting to claim this legendary prize, but none have ever come close.
One day a young Ninja was told by an oracle that he was the only one who could reach the piece of gold, and that all he had to do was nothing.
Confused, but brave, the young ninja stepped into the labyrinthine death chasm which protected Gold One.
And in blind faith, he did nothing..."
Lastly, sorry if the quality isn't great. This is my first time using video capture hardware/software, so I have no idea how it will turn out.
Time to create the levels:
Gold One:
10 hours to get the basic path down, 20 total to perfect.
Gold Two:
10 hours to get the basic path down, 5 hours to perfect.
Gold Three:
20 hours to complete, 10 hours to perfect. Obviously the most time I invested was in this level, because it is the most awesome.
Gold Four:
5 hours to complete, 3 to perfect. Quick level.
Gold Five:
4 hours to complete, 2 to perfect. (The short production time shows...obviously not my best work.)
Gold Six:
20 hours to complete, 5 to perfect. (No video of this online at the moment.)
Gold 1-6 + 5 additional hours, on average, to create updated versions. These new versions are not online at the moment as I don't have a reliable video capture set up. - บันเทิง

Man, this game was fun as a kid. It still is to this day.

Aw that's so sweet. ^_^ I'm motivated to dig up my old system to record the remade versions of the levels... I know I've said it before, but apparently I have the memory of a gold fish. Gold 6... no one has seen! :o
As a reminder, anyone can make a level. But only the best of the best level makers can create something like this.
EDIT: Yeah the blank hit the fan so to speak hahaha. Finally able to make good on this soon! :D;;;
Just as a heads up, I'll soon be (finally) recording the updated versions of these five levels.
The new versions simply include more danger. :)

Yeah, it is a pain to properly capture this stuff. We moved recently, and I DON'T feel like re-setting all this crap up again so that I can re-record the newer, better versions of these levels.
Not to mention all my other kick ass levels...ugh, I'll get to it eventually.

I actually have Gold Two finished. As in about 30 seconds ago I put in the last piece. It'll be uploaded in the next hour or so. :)
You know, they (as in game developers) always say "we're gonna fix it," but it doesn't always happen. So, for now, I'm not going to get my hopes up -too- much. Still, it would be nice to have those abilities. I'd also like longer custom level NAMES, lol.

I think that makes it better.
It is easy to use a bajillion glitchs to get Ninja man somewhere, but lets see you make him do crazy things with the limitations of this N game. XD
I've made one of those, i'd never seen one but it just came to me so i made one, after seeing this one i can say yours is more creative because mine is mainly just a bunch of springs and things trying to kill him as he goes through them but they never keep up.
I have awesome natural talent.
That and I am extremely patient, painfully thorough, and annoyingly obsessive with perfection.
Very cool! Had to be a butt-load of work. I built some levels that I USED to think were pretty cool. This shit is professional. Nice.
It took a TON of testing. Because of the rotating lasers, I had to start at the beginning every time I wanted to test it. If I attempted to move Ninja man temporarily to get him safely through a new section he wouldn't line up with the previous sections due to the lasers.
Damn this game is from the glory days of Xbox 360, good shit man 👍🏽

Also, be sure to check out my "Removing the Door" video. In that video I remove the door on the right side that ninja man hits and you'll see that he doesn't survive.
I do have the times I took posted somewhere in the comments of video 3, but I'll update the information per level when I finally record the new versions of them. (I need a new computer before I can do that, so it may be awhile.)

I'll make a "how to" video eventually, but to tell you now, it is a simple process of placing 1-2 pieces and testing the level. If Ninja Man dies the new pieces must be adjusted and the level retested. If he lives then you can move on to the next piece(s).
DDA maps are always astounding! There are actually a number of DDAs and Hold Right maps included in the user-levels with the original n game as soon as you download it, you ought to check them out! It can get people to stop saying "faaake" when they see it work with their own eyes while not pressing any buttons! n is a fantastic game.

Yeah I'm a one upper in terms of building things. I had seen all those other automatic levels where it looked like complete garbage and was like "uh...no."
Don't get me wrong, they're cool and all, but definitely not what I would call aesthetically pleasing, so I tried my best to make my levels look more sleek and organized while still being crazy.

how do you download custom levels onto n+? there is a category for downloaded levels but i can't see how to download them?
ahh, i remember these as "DDA" levels in the original N game
(DDA in this case: don't do anything. then there would also be "DDA left"s and "DDA right", where you had to keep pushing in one direction.

IN FACT, you see that trap door on the right at about 1:20? Do you remember that from the first time through the level? No, because it is required to appear after the first time, or it messes up the level. Check out my other video: "Gold One - Removing the Door" where I remove the door and the level no longer works.

@N0NEoftheAB0VE You can't share them in a normal way like an upload system or something that has ratings or such, but you can share them. When you play a custom episode with someone any guest can save the entire episode after it is completed.

I bought this spiffy little thing from Target. It's in a red box...video capture something or other.
What it is: Little box with a USB cable. The cable connects to computer, the little box has the standard AV (yellow, red, white) ports.
Plug Xbox into box, plug box into computer, run capture software, complete.
Thats the 2nd highest gamerscore I've seen. The most I've ever seen was 2 days ago when I was playing N. He had a whopping 95k!
That was the caused by the collision with the triangle tile and trapdoor.

Great take on the Mario videos with N+, but there's a certain lack of drama. There are SO many things cluttering the screen that I rarely felt that the ninja closely evaded death. There were walls to block missiles or bullets exactly where they needed to be, mines lined up when the character is nowhere close to actually hitting them, and the ninja sometimes got going a little slowly (which is not characteristic of everyone's favorite monochrome ninja, unlike slowpoke Mario).

I'm waiting for a new computer so I can recapture the newest versions of these levels until I add the fiction to the next levels.
From what others have told me, yes, it is a DDA.

@Myagooshki Regular N is free and has 500 levels, and although it isn't nearly as flashy as N+, it's still a remarkably fun game that will entertain you for weeks.

No. I pressed A to start the map. You see that part at 5 or 6 seconds when the game actually starts to play? That is the ONLY time I'm touching my controller...and all I'm doing is starting it.
As soon as that Ninja Man starts falling, he is on his own all the way to the exit.
Hint: Gold One - THE AUTOMATIC NINJA.

Btw, I have heard about whats called an Adaptec Gaming bridge. You can record your stuff with it... hopefully consoles aswell. You should check that out! Though I may have spelt it wrong. Hope I helped!
