The male dancer was an amazing man named Tom Mette. Sadly he was hit by a cab in NYC and killed crossing a bridge while riding his bicycle. I lived in Baltimore in 98/99 and this era of Lungfish will forever be in my heart and mind as the most spiritual and amazing music i've ever experienced.

RIP But all the bridges in NYC have separate paths for bikes. Spent some years in Baltimore in the 90s. Really miss the friends I had there. As well as Reptilian Records.

Ask any of the ex-AF whistleblowers like Kristen Meghan the hazardous chemicals they found in airplane hangars and in the back of airplanes, like barium and aluminum oxide. Ask them why they were viciously targeted by the government and received numerous death threats for speaking out about what they saw.
Of course, if you get all your information from CIA-controlled outlets like Wikipedia and CNN, you’re probably used to taking things at face value and feel more comfortable when you have the government spoonfeeding your opinions to you

The best band ever!
Lungfish are easily one of the best ever. Easily.
They really didn't play live a lot around this time. They'd do a record and play like two shows in Baltimore, maybe one in D.C. and one in P.A. Right before they got this bass player (Nate) in the band they played a few shows as a 3 piece. I always dreamed of being there bassist during this time LoL.
I will listen until I'm dead.

That bass amp was loud as hell everywhere but where the bassist was standing. And Fugazi closed the night. Awesome show. Lungfish were always intensely great.

like em, been jammin theyre stuff these days. Good music to listen to when you want to relax or rest yor mind to. Love the hypnotic aspect of their sound.

I've missed many chances to see this band live over the years. I suck. But at least I've seen Higgs solo a few times.
i saw them in missoula mt at the college around '94. mind blowing to me, but the crowd wasn't into it back then.

I thought the guy in front of the guitarist was on some amazing psychedelics but then at the 37:20 point a woman shows up on stage left doing the same thing. So, it's all been rehearsed which kind of takes away the magic. Still, GREAT show.

I'm here because the euthanized 90 year-old lungfish triggered a memory of seeing these guys play Green Bay in 1995. Great show.
