I remember back in 2000, I was living in a northeast beach town and seeing male surfers wearing these awesome boots I’d never seen before - Uggs! I got a pair at the local surf shop, loved them so much…but it seemed a year or so later, every female on the planet was wearing them. They got way too trendy. I started looking around and found Manitobah Mukluks online, and I’ve been wearing them ever since. So warm and comfy, and so many great styles. And best of all, everyone isn’t wearing them.

So the turtle sole is based off of how North America used to be referred to as turtle island! Awesome
