You rock! ☺ Btw, most of the video was PT-BR (Brazilian Portuguese), which is completely understandable since it's the most spoken variation of Portuguese. The pronunciation is very different in PT-PT. Like, we don't make the "j" sound after a "d", our "es" in "está" isn't as open, per example. Some of the words are different too, but that's just part of the beauty that the multiple regional variations of any language have! :D Small little detail about the "obrigado/a". In Portugal, at least, you use "obrigado" if you're male and "obrigada" if you're female, depending on you, rather than the person you're talking too. I might be wrong, but I think that in Brazil it's the same (?) Finally, Portugal isn't actually one of the two largest/most populated countries with Portugal as the main language. Those would be Brazil and Angola, followed by Mozambique and then Portugal. Pardon my two cents, btw! I don't really like correcting anyone as I don't want to seem as if I'm acting superior or anything. I hope it didn't look like that! Cheers!

In Portugal we say it as it is, "dia", and "Olá" is normal for us, we say Olá and Brazilians say Oi. Besides that, I'm a Portuguese historian and I loved that you talked about the meaning of the flag in terms of our history, our flag really has a lot of meaning. Thank u sm

I usually use workbooks or the internet:) I do not know these languages fluently! I struggle with learning languages too. I tend to learn little bits of multiple, learning a full language is daunting. You are very knowledgeable and smart:) learning a language isn’t the only way to showcase! This star is called "Spica" and is part of the constellation Virgo. The star of Pará was chosen to represent the state because, at the beginning of the Republic, Pará was the northernmost state in Brazil. The stars on the Brazilian flag represent each of the states Brazilians and the Federal District (Brasília, capital of Brazil). Regardless of this small mistake,I really enjoyed this class you gave so people could learn to speak Brazilian (or Portuguese, whichever you prefer) hugs from me and Brazil ;)
