for me the last part represents the case when there is no conflict within you. The time in your life when you are in a state of shock and you can justify about anything to yourself. I was a young poor white in a poor latin city in america. I loved metal and a few friends of mine did too and it didnt matter our race. When we went to highschool they mixed us with the rich kids (mostly white) and I never fit in with them or wanted too. After a while I went to an alternative school for troubled teens and met more kids that liked metal there. I thought I belonged somewhere finally, but whenever I listened to Sevendust someone would always say something racist. I didnt think racism existed because of the neighborhood where I came from. IT BLEW MY MIND. Im almost forty now and Ive learned A LOT since then. I hope ignorance of above else is abolished. Love the LFR Fam. I hope you listen to this song.......
