Just a tip I learned from my time playing bap. He has two main “firing modes”. One is shoot shoot heal and the other is heal shoot heal shoot. The first one (112) allows you to get full dmg output with a little bit of healing. The second one (alternating) gets full healing output with a bit of dmg. In team fights, i’ll use the alternating one quite a bit so i can still deal damage while healing, and i’ll use the 112 if my team is just taking chip damage. These firing modes are difficult to get used to, but just good to know in general as a bap player. You won’t use them all the time, but they add so much more value to your gameplay if implemented properly. Side note: using window for yourself is a great way to use his ult. Watch any t500 bap play him and most of the time it’s a selfish ult.

@@Sam-vw4ks well my thing is zen and Ana are almost universally hated by tanks and exclusively tanks, you’re right in kiri being hated as a support main even I hate her too but that’s mainly because she can do both main and flex support TOO well and the thing is her kit is overloaded she’s not really overpowered certainly broken at the top level and same for Lucio but a much more reasonable more engaging fun version of kiri to an extent but almost everyone loves speed boost so idk man coming from my noggin it just feels like we’ll hitscan bias bap has been strong for actually forever I’ve never not seen him in the grand majority of top five hundred supports on console in like five years and aside from mercy he’s actually the most one tricked in the same ranks too except his value actually scales more than mercy, idk man I feel like having flex supports like bap or kiri are what ruin the game because they just get free value and it doesn’t matter if you waste a suzu if you can get a cheeky pick if not teleport out for free every seven seconds with your dps, bap you literally just have three health bars and the most consistent weapon killing wise in the support category and fairly easy to land aoe heals WITH unlimited vertical mobility like he certainly has his weaknesses but as of right now it’s literally just overpowering him as he’s basically a one man army both on paper and in practice at times and it shows. I’m just so tired of bap being the sigma of supports and being consistently strong no matter the context.

Everyone says Zarya is broken, until they actually try to play her. So much management and panic... Who to shield at the right time,when to shield yourself... When to go ham at full charge so you don't get crushed... She's tough to maater, but if you can, people will say you play a op character 😊

The Cute Spart is easier to get in OverWatch 2 but just to put emphasis of how hard the Window Of Opportunity is (Cute Spray) It took ml7 (one of the best support players) years to do it
LEarning curve for BAP is deffo less steep for who comes from hitscan chara. If aim is already there, it a pleasure to play it. Then comes timing spending CDs and positioning using his jump properly.
not sure if you know but didnt mention, baps burst heal also for a few seconds multiplies how much you can heal your teammates, not sure if it makes sense but its on the wiki if you want more info
it's hard to go back to any support after playing bap, first off, most supports have a shoe for a weapon, as bap you have a gun from the future. The Sojourn effect for supports. Oh and the boots of course...
So with bap ult, it's useable with your team yes, and whenever you can go for it. But don't save it for that specifically, you get more value using it yourself then saving it for your team and not getting anything from it

Yeah, I don't have much time to play OW, so when I go 5-1 three times in a row and go from Plat 3 to Plat 1, I start to lost a bit of hope. I seriously think I'm better, and my winrate and stats seem to agree - but I just can't put in enough time to get to a rank which reflects my actual skill level.
I have 96 hours on Baptiste and I still dont have the Cute spray its so difficult near impossible. Thankfully got the Pixel spray around 60-70 hours thanks to enemy Zarya ult
I think this might be a reach. But if you're a Destiny player, you would be good as Bap because more than likely mastered pulse rifles, the 3 to 4 burst rounds
