Iceland Svartifoss Waterfall Hike - The Black Waterfall Iceland -

Day 1 stop 4 of 6, has us visiting Svartifoss, Iceland's Black Waterfall.
For our next stop we’re visiting Svartifoss, one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls. While only being 20 meters (66 feet) in height and being relatively less powerful compared to other waterfalls in the area. Svartifoss (meaning Black Waterfall in Icelandic) is one of the most popular in the country. Mostly do to the incredible black and gray basalt columns that the water is flowing over.
But don’t be tricked into only seeing the falls. As you will see in the video, there is much more to the area. Including incredible views from the top of the trail. Overlooking glacial flows and the stunning mountain surrounding the area. So enjoy the ride! And we have a lot more to come from our trip.
