that is a great concept. I really like it. Majority of the fanbase already wished the chapter 1 map to be a separate playable mode

@@KEV19019I as much as you would like a separate game mode but just think about it, if it were to be permanent wouldn’t it get a little dry because the nostalgia will run out and the map will become less and less special. Personally I like the 1 month season because it captured the incredibility of chapter 1 and the nostalgia and didn’t drag for too long. Just my opinion tho
it would be cool if we will be able to play old maps but main focus into newest chapter
They won't make it permanent, they can't work on two maps at once

I really wish they would do something like this. Maybe also something like the maps (Except for maybe the current one) change every week to a different season from that chapter, like for example the Chapter 1 map is on the Season 7 version meanwhile the Chapter 2 map is on the Season 2 version while everything like the season's bosses are there for the week along with the map.
I had a concept similar to this a few years ago to where you could match up in different chapters and seasons with those loot pools with people who chose that season to queue in and you could select current mode to play the storyline challenges and chapter 5 map or whatever chapter is currently going on so the more popular seasons might have faster matchmaking
The problem is fortnite would just end up flooding every server with like 90+ bots

I feel like they won't do that anytime soon because it would dilute the BR game mode a lot. Especially since only ONE of the Chapters (Chapter 5) would likely get updates, the rest would just be stuck with what they had in the past. Speaking of which, how would they choose the seasons? Is it like, a weekly rotation or something? Also, collab content would probably have to be removed.
Basically, I doubt they'd do anything like this anytime soon. Maybe when BR is no longer the sole focus of Fortnite and they can safely say it's "The Metaverse" and so it wouldn't really matter what they do with BR.

When chapter 2 came out, that was my exact idea
They could add an LTM every once in a while when every time it leave and comes back its a different chapter
For example it’s January 21st they add the chapter 2 map for a few days and then one month later in February 21st they add the chapter 3 map for a few days and then it goes on a constant loop but the second time a chapter is out it starts to change seasons
I started in chapter 4 season 2, i cant wait to relive that age of fortnite!

Cool concept I just think the scale is too massive and we’d run into so many issues I’m cool with them bringing on back as an alternative game mode and continuing with the story so far I like what they are doing with chapter 5 and I’ve been playing since season 3

Bro I love this. I feel like some seasons wouldn’t get that many players but there doesn’t need to be that many lobbies for the ones that don’t.
I like this concept, cos I started Chapter 4 season 3 so I never was able to see what was it like playing from chapter 1,2 and 3.
I also started C4S3 and I wish I could play all of the seasons in all chapters with an ability to take and finish quests from past seasons and be able to be present on events...
That's my dream, cause I want to walkthrough all Fortnite storyline
(and, of course, buy all BP from season 2 to season 24)
I had the chapter select idea during the OG chapter because a friend of mine told me there would be no chapter 5 so I said “than *maybe* we will be able to select whatever chapter we want?”
I've had this concept idea for a very long time. This is what I think they'll do at the end of the story

That was also my thought for some time. It was that if fortnite ever died (in about 5 or so years) they shoud make an option to select which map you want to play on. Either in Battle Royale/Creative or for them to bring back Battle Lab/Playground.

They should have the layout like the chaper 2 one where when u load in u can choose to go straight into creative, battle lab, or battle royale ( but this time with chapters and seasons) It should stay permanently.
A chapter selection... I remember posting a concept about this 3 years ago on chapter 2. Never thought it would actually come true...

I agree, been playing since pretty much day one. A chapter selector or a map selector would be cool, they should also add a system where you can complete battle passes you didn't finish, and it'll keep you at the same tier as you left off on.
They should do a comeback of the OG map and do another THE END event, but this time, instead of making the meteor destroy the map, they should make it go somewhere else, so the OG map would stay there safe and healty to make other seasons on it.
I know a lot of people like to go back and enjoy past Maps but honestly, bringing it back would ruined it's whole uniqueness, the past maps is special because of the memories we made and had with it, after we're bored with ALL of the Maps, what then?
Fortnite is different and special because it is constantly changing, each time newer and better than previous seasons and chapters.
But I do want Epic to bring back LTM's since the Winterfest LTM is over now.

I wish it was like the Minecraft Java launcher, with different creative maps on the side, and you can choose any version.

I think chapter 1 as a separate mode would be a terrible idea, not only would people just play the old map, epic would also have no reason to update the current map considering everyone will be satisfied with the old one.
Or maybe you could vote on a map every time you load in or something like that?

The only problem with being able to permanently play older chapters is what season would they be on? Like for chapter one obviously season one is the most og, but then season three is where the game really blew up, but then what if you want to play with mega mall and neo tilted, but they aren’t there because it’s before season nine. And being able to select exact seasons wouldn’t work because there wouldn’t be enough players, especially for the more hated seasons.
We need a new collab.
I feel like this season that we’re in right now would’ve been a good chance for the chapter select option because of the whole multiple universes thing that we saw in the event

Or they could make a story about this kinda thing. But the zero point probably gets fractured or something. And every time you load up a game it's a random map from all the previous seasons.

Don’t you find it weird that there’s battle pass, then festival pass, but in season og it was called og pass.. and the fact that festival is a seperate game mode with its own pass makes me think same will happen to og map 😊
