great music to chill and relax too , my friend Sean King from back home in Muncie Indiana is their new bass player. I believe they are based in Eugene, OR . keep up the good vibe !
ever notice how all the best post rock bands have the word "sky" in the title? this patch of sky, break my fucking sky, paint the sky red, explosions in the sky... weird hey?
Man!! Massive waves of sound!! Massive Waves of Sound! Massive Waves of Sound! Shit just exploded somewhere! Best thing I've heard after This will destroy you!
Todd Moffat How are they ripping off EITS? EITS has been my favourite band for years and although This Patch of Sky has a style that’s at times similar to EITS, it doesn’t mean they’re ripping anyone off. They’re both post rock bands, so their styles may overlap. It’s like someone arguing that Caravaggio ripped off Da Vinci. TPOS has a lot of different elements that EITS doesn’t, but you can’t expect every band to sound completely different from every other band that came before it. Groups, bands, artists all influence one another, but that doesn’t mean their creations should be dismissed because of it.

Explosions rip-off
This sounds nothing like EITS. More like TWDY if anything. Either way, it's absolutely gorgeous.
