  • This Japanese modern ferry connects Matsuyama and Hiroshima. It takes 2 hours 40 minutes. Seats were comfortable and the view of Seto Inland Sea was beautiful.

It have higher comfort standards then the ferries we have now in Norway, all they have is a car deck, with a simple cafe on the side. I miss the old ferries we had, they had a proper upper deck, with a large cafe and everything, but now they want to save money on everything. Service isn't important anymore!

I like your calm videos. A part of my personality is that I become very calm on a boat or ship. So your videos are always soothing to me.
I was disappointed though. There is a large black cylinder going through the decks. I wondered what it was. We went up to the top deck and you never showed us the top.
I have a question for you. Did you look up at that cylinder at any time when you saw it? Why? Why did you look up. Were you curious? Maybe you were. Maybe your viewers also would like to see what you looked at but you didn't show us.
This big cylinder seems to be very unique aspect of the ferry. But mysterious.
A lot of the video is very repetitive so I know you have plenty of time.
Another very interesting thing about the ferry would be loading and unloading vehicles. That is its purpose.
You never seem to show vehicles coming on or off. As if no one would be interested. Or maybe it's not important.
Things that are interesting to you, you should photograph and show to your viewers.
Thank you for making interesting videos. And you should include the unusual or unique features for us to see.

Your videos are always so calm and interesting; neat to see one of the shorter ferry trips this time! The short ferry trips I’ve taken have definitely been much more utilitarian; not bad, but definitely did not have the level of comfortable amenities or design as this one. Too bad about the exhaust smell up-top! And it seems it might be better to pack your own lunch on this one with those prices and that omurice lol. But overall very cool to see this experience. I took the reverse trip to Matsuyama, on the ferry that this must have replaced (it was ok then, but this is much nicer), after camping the night on nearby Itsukushima. So many islands in the Seto inland Sea that you can visit via ferry or are connected by bridge. I only allowed one day to cross back to Honshu via the Shiminami Kaido cycle route. I could and should have stayed weeks on Shikoku and the inland sea islands.
