      I saw some images/video clips of it on instagram. Some people apparently have received it.

    If anyone looks into this you will find no mods were made to the cams if they did please provide them.

      Several modifications were made:
      - silver finish instead of black, to reduce the heat load
      - motor drive added (it's not clear to me if this was developed for NASA or was already available as an option)
      - trigger replaced with a large button that's easy to operate with gloves
      - reseau plate added (which made the cross marks on each photo)
      - viewfinder, reflex mirror, auxiliary shutter were removed

      @@zounds010 Have you heard of cold welding?

    • @zounds010
      @zounds010 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@semontreal6907 Cold welding exists. That does not mean that anything subjected to vacuum immediately cold-welds. Especially in something like a watch, where the components are continuously in motion, cold welding is not a major problem.

      @@zounds010 Are you familiar with the camera shutter

    • @zounds010
      @zounds010 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@semontreal6907 I'm familiar with the forces involved in cold welding, and the circumstances in which it occurs. Exposing a device to vacuum for only 8 hours and operating it hundreds of times in those 8 hours is not a condition in which cold welding is likely to be an issue.
