People think, "Prodigy? Oh yeah, Keith Flint." Just amazes me how Liam alone is the Prodigy. (With backing dancers and a front man to bulk it out.) Full respect to Howlett.
People also forget the success of a musical act depends not only on the music, but on the whole package - visuals, attitude and the image they project, as much as what the music makes people feel. The Prodigy wouldn't have been successful without either of them

What a disrespectful comment. All 4 of them are The Prodigy! If there was no Keith, there would be no Prodigy he was the one who put them all together. Liam is the key member, but their success has come from all of them.
@@onenation8707 Not really. Without Liam there could have been no Prodigy. Any of the others could have been replaced and it would still have been a success. Liam on his own would have made it to some degree.

The Experience album still gives me shivers the moment Jericho starts. Defined my teenage years.

@@matdan2 You know what, come to think of it you're right. Howlett has always been a genius in arrangement not necessarily taking a keyboard or synth to new heights. Aphex Twin on the other hand...
@@matdan2 Cool. I used to produce, once upon a time - with Reason and a MIDI controller. Never delved deeper into hardware but I have an appreciation for them. What are you using at the moment?

Don't get me wrong the prodigy are legends. But don't knock Aphex bro. They are both up there as Electronic giants.

Liam reminds me of Nigel Tuffnel from Spinal tap. He should do a scene where he's showing someone his synth collection. 'This is an old Korg I picked up, still got the old tagger on it. This one's famous for its sustain, you can hold it all day, you can go and have a bite and you'll still hear the sustain on that one. this one, the filters go to 11, look right across the board. Still can't figure out how to tune it though'.

The Prodigy and Liam Howlett are legends.. Liam inspired my synth childhood, i bought Adam speakers, Moogs Voyager and Prodigy, Virus Ti and a Dave smith mono evolver mostly inspired by his synth sounds and amazing group of individuals! Big love to you! 'How do ya tune this Cant' So nice to see you do that too! We are all only human after all ;) Big love from the bottom of my heart and thanks for the inspiration!

No disrespect to Keith but Prodigy = Liam Howlett and there is no reason why they can’t still release albums under the name. The live shows sadly wouldn’t be the same without Keith though, so maybe Liam should focus on producing a great concept album without being encumbered by needing to perform it live..

I just wanna say my first album I EVER biught and treasured, and still listen to is the prodigy experience. I love every track on it. Even weather experience😁matter fact thats the first track i sampled. Many years after the rest of the best qlbums ever made from the prodigy. Music for the jikted was great too. But i heard poison the other day on fifa and man, i called up my old dj friend and now got in touch after yearw. Ur music is sooo awesome!

Listened to Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned again recently and had forgot how fucking awesome an album it was, Keith et al are just extraneous Prodigy needs nothing more than Liam experimenting on a keyboard so learn how to use the new one!
