21:50 has a tip to enroll “on Terminal leave” and she says you may enroll “90 days BEFORE” retirement.
Neither of these have proven true for me.
Additionally 28:38 how to enroll has 4 ways to accomplish this. The first 3 failed. While trying the “in person” method on terminal leave. I couldn’t get the representative to understand that I was on terminal leave, holding a DD214, and with orders…but wanted to enroll for a retirement plan.
Apparently this training presentation is wrong or the information has not made it to Tricare East and Maxwell AirForce Base.
