What a brave warrior she is. She knew about her diagnosis already at this point. And she knew it is maybe her last concert in good health for a while. Sure, her prognosis is as good as it can be with cancer. But it is very much a possibility that she needs chemotherapy and extensive treatment, that will knock her out for a while. And knowing all that she still managed to perform, soaking up every second of it. And how she fights the tears is just touching. She is dedicated to the music and the fans so much. I really hope she will be back with full force again, when she is ready. And even if her getting healthy again would mean to never perform again. That would be a price I would be more than willing to accept. She has given so much joy and pleasure to millions of people for almost 25 years now. She owes us nothing. All that matters is that she will be healthy again to see her daughter grow up.

She is so fully absorbed in the moment, joy in her eyes, acknowledging and gratefully making (eye)contact with the fans in all corners of the venue... in this she represents the whole band. That wonderful long note in the end is only a tiny part of what goes on here... Music and performing and connecting seem very wholesome even when knowing you have to start treatment for cancer within a few days. Lovely and encouraging to witness. You had a steady hand and keen eye to capture such joy and gratefulness. Thanks for this!
