I see such a big difference in your makeup skills from a year ago! Your makeup looks amazing. Remember you don’t need anything heavy your still young! Your skin is glowing by the way!
if you have dark circles and want to cover them up, you can use color corrector before concealer to counter act the darkness! i believe red is used for under eyes as well as use a pressed powder that is just a little bit lighter ( or your regular skin tone) to either brighten the under eye or to just make it even :)
I also recently got really into makeup and these are my fave products and tips!
- Lumene CC is perfect for a lightweight skin tint to color correct uneven skin
- Mascara wise L’oreal paradise is the way to go, they also have a lash primer which helps with the lashes to stay up
- If u are interested in keeping brows in place W7 has an amazing brow wax that can easily be applied with a lash brush
- COSTXR snail mucin is such a good skincare product if wanting to achieve a more natural glow, also helps the makeup to set better due to the skin becoming moisturized
- Emotionellt cream does wonders if u find that moisturizers break you out
- Essence lip liners are the most affordable good liner that last through out the day, especially the matt 8h onces
ok,,,a bit of advise from someone who has used makeup for many yrs....when you are young ( and have oily or combo skin) skip the moisturizer,,,it causes breakouts,,,you also do not need primer yet,,,,,I am 71 and have worn makeup in real life and theatre since I was in my 20's.....have no lines or wrinkles.....,,,,,just thought I would share my knowledge....hope it helps.....love your channel

Hello Diana a tip for lashes I used castor oil to grow my lashes out I used to have super small lashes and know you can really tell a difference in pictures. And also the mascara I used is maybelline lash waterproof. Also for the castor oil I bought it on amazon it comes with an applicator for you to apply it on I wear the oil every night or when I don’t feel like putting mascara on. Only wear it once a day. Know that my lashes or long I curl them and apply the oil let me tell you it keeps them up without mascara. ❤

the l’oreal hyaluronic acid serum foundation is super good and lightweight plus keeps your skin hydrated, sometimes if your skin is too dry it’ll create excess oils and cause it to become oily so never skip moisturizer
Instead of foundation, I use tinted moisturizer. It's perfect - super light and just covers up the blemishes/uneven skin tones on my face. Plus, it has SPF! I recommend the tinted moisturizers by Laura Mercier...they are pricey but you don't need to use much at all.

I always curl my lashes 2/3 times before putting mascara so maybe it would work for you ! And if you’re talking about the Sky High Mascara (the one with the pink packaging) I totally recommend it, it’s a really great one 😊
Your makeup came out so well!! Too faced makes a mini version of their concealer that’s bout $15-ish. Same with the Tarte concealer as well if you didn’t wanna bust the bank getting the full size and wanted to try it first. And the minis seem to always go on sale too.
For mascara: if you kinda shimmy(?) it thru the lashes and twist the comb it helps keep them curled. Maybelline makes a good mascara the lash sensational one or essence lash princes.
My lashes just love pointing down but I find the maybelline/Essence mascaras help a lot keeping them up!
Also telescopic by lorel is so so good!! I heat my eyelash curler up with a blow dryer so it’s warm and I’ve found it keeps them curled longer. I also only curl one at a time and then focus on the mascara on that eye then do the next! Hopefully that helps anyone that wants mascara tips ahah!
Hey dg, just figured this tip might help since no one ever told me, but if you buy a peach color corrector and use that for your dark circles and then apply your concealer, it helps a lot with not having to use as much concealer and helps get rid of the darkness :) elf has a good one that’s not expensive!
I also have straight lashes that don’t stay up. I use Korean mascaras like Etude they stay up but it’s hard to get off, highly recommend it for like big events or for photos taken.

Lash princess mascara is good and so is the thrive causemetics one. I have stubborn lashes too. Sometimes you just have to layer a lot.
i have vv straight eyelashes so yes! i recommend the sky high mascara but the waterproof one it curls my lashes and keeps them curled!
It probably doesn’t do anything, but in my mind it does it works fine!!!! My fav line!!! Good Job DG your getting more comfortable with makeup and doing such a great job!!! The NYX setting spray amazing the blush really make your look pop and try rare foundation it’s hard to find a color match sometimes but the feel and application I really enjoy.

Clinique has really good CC or BB creams that i like to use as a foundation ! light weight and depending on how cakey you want to look depends on how much you apply. but i usually like to use the morphe 2 concealers for my whole face or the clinque concealer as well :))
I love the Real Magnet Mascara by benefit! It gives a lot of length and volume. I’m not sure if it gives lift but I do love it!

The best way I found to curl my lashes is heating up the eyelash curler with a hair dryer for a bit like 10 seconds, then letting it cool a bit before putting it near your eye

Something that really works for my lashes since they don’t lift that much either is heating the lash curler with a lighter for about 10 seconds and then curling them and they look really nice! 💖
PLEASE do a full video of tapping on the elf primer with nails- it sounds so satisfying 😍
I love ur makeup!! I suggest to also use sunscreen and i also suggest to get the elf hydrating camo concealer its Affordable and good coverage and instead of using a brush for powder get a powder puff its much better use and your undereye wont crease
try buying a color corrector from
l.a. girl! applying that before concealer will make a HUGE difference 😊
I love this video so much and you're so pretty! My eyelashes are the same way, they don't hold curl very well and a lot of mascaras give my lashes the color, but don't maintain the lift that I want. A mascara that I recommend is the Rare Beauty mascara. That one keeps my lashes lifted throughout the day and it's my favorite mascara!
a pro tip that helps my lashes stay lifted is i put a lighter to my eyelash curler and curl my lashes 😅.
if you can’t find a foundation but want something light, i love mixing a skin tint in with my elf halo glow! (i use the fenty eaze drops skin tint, it blurs and looks really good in my opinion!) i only really use a foundation if i’m going out for special events, but i’m def a skin tint girl! using a skin tint with the halo glow gives you that foundation sorta look without the heaviness imo :)
edit: also, if not already, i suggest keeping a little spray bottle of water close to wet your sponges a bit! it makes it look 10x smoother when going in to smooth out your makeup ❤ and dabbing on your blush instead of swiping it and putting it up your cheeks higher may help reduce redness :)

You’re using a body lotion on your face - try a facial moisturiser (elf do a nice one and it works well with that primer). Trying giving your base products 30 seconds to a minute to settle on your face before moving on to the next product and if you’re still getting little bumps try washing your face with an anti-dandruff shampoo (you can also use it as a face mask and leave it on for ten minutes, just wet your face first).
Your make up is amazing, the lip gloss bundles sound amazing x

For making your mascara more curled, you should hold the eyelash curler down longer and then when applying the mascara you should do it much slower to really coat all the lashes. I recommend the Maybelline sky high too
Get the telescopic waterproof mascara everyone always ask me if my eyelashes are fake and also use a tweezerman eyelash curler that’s like 4 dollars at tj maxx

I don’t love the too faced concealer, I feel like it’s soooooo thick that it becomes really cakey really fast, the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer tho!! Very much worth it, I have been using it for so long and it’s really nice, I definitely recommend! Great video, I love watching people do their makeup, super relaxing

Pro tip do some research on products meant for your skin like if you have dry skin or oily skin look up foundations that are meant for your skin type took me a long time to realize there are specific formulas for specific skin types 😊
When applying mascara I love twirling the wand through my lashes as it gives more of a curl, I hope this helped xx

Sometimes if you do 1 coat mascara let dry for min...then put 2nd coat it works better. If you keep finding bumps try bare minerals foundation

use an spf before makeup and apply that eye cream with the moisturiser and maybe a bb cream would work better than a foundation for you?
L'Oreal has a tinted moisturizer that I like to use like a BB cream also have a foundation true match that I like that's not too cakey but I don't always feel like doing a full face of makeup so I'll just do the tinted moisturizer

Quick question, is that cerave lotion for skin or does it say face? That might be why you’re getting tiny bumps. Regular lotion can be too intense for for facial use. My absolute favorite face lotion is Acure (day and night cream) it’s super gentle and great for sensitive skin
