Thank you for sharing. I am the Mum of a 14 girl who is an inpatient and has been diagnosed with Anorexia. These types of posts give my family hope that one day we will get our daughter back, help us understand how we can help her and others. I am so grateful for your honesty. x

This video is really going to help people out there. You should feel proud of yourself for making it. Happy you got through this.

I know this is 2 years ago, but making an imperfect video shows how far you have come in your recovery.

I don't want to be selfish but I really understand how hard it's to fight the voice in your head.
I wish you better and happier days.

I am sorry to hear you are struggling and feel alone in what you are going through. I can relate with not having anyone to talk to. One thing I learned is that it can be hard for people to understand because they haven’t experienced it themselves. I highly recommend finding a therapist! That can be so helpful. Wishing you the best.❤️

That’s totally valid and you’re right it’s difficult to deal with mentally. Something that helped me was buying some comfortable clothes that fit better!

Nice Job Cannessa! What would you recommend parents, family, friends do to help someone in that situation.

Thank you! First and foremost just be there to listen. Most of the time people with an eating disorder don’t realize or want help but it means a lot when family expresses their concern and care. Researching resources is great too.
