    I see a lot of comments about how this is the mom's fault. I totally see where the mom failed, but it's a chain- if there was an Intervention episode about the mom, many would probably identify someone from her life who screwed her up too, and someone who screwed up that person, and so on. This isn't to justify her mom's actions, but it is to show that every person should try to not repeat the mistakes that their parents made. Every person who has kids has the responsibility to break the chain.

      @Mister Brookes garbage. The mum is a complete waster. The father didn't want his wife to drink and do drugs because they had children as any father who wasn't a complete degenerate would. So she left and stopped her daughter seeing him.
      But sure its the father's fault she started doing drugs. Drugs she got from her mum

    • @bassassassinnn7459
      @bassassassinnn7459 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      @Mister Brookes discipline doesn't cause people to become addicts. Lack of discipline and accountability does. The father was the only person that could have actually prevented this behavior by just being present and teaching her values. My daughters (6 and 3) know when to listen, be respectful, and admit when they're wrong. They're very young, but compared to their friends that are in the same age groups they are far ahead in that aspect. My father would discipline me verbally and sometimes physically when I got out of line. That's how productive people are made. This is a big reason why we have so much wasted talent in this world right now, because last generations and this generations parents are too scared to implement corporal punishment. It creates entitled, whiny brats that don't know what real life is.

    The mother needs to be in jail. To bad the statute of limitations has most likely run out. Pathetic!

      There is no statute of limitations here in Canada. I live in the same city as her. Went to school with her. This video made me so sad.

    That women reminds me of my mother and how she acted when I was an addict. They act like they care but are really being snobby about it. Thanks to you mum I am still a "junkie"

    There was a LOT of things happening in the beginning. We both are 3 yrs clean. He was a main heroin user and mine was cocaine/weed/alcohol. To everyone who overcomes those demons: You are a ROCKSTAR!

    So the mother was the reason why the daughter is a drug addict by ending the relationship with the father. Good on you mom.

      Not at all. I watched the whole episode. This mom throw drug parties with her daughter at home. Drugs are everywhere in her house. She also took her daughter to wild party herself to be a "fun" Mom.

    Her mannerisms and body language remind me so much of Sierra from S15, who also had meth-induced psychosis. I just thought it was interesting to see how similar each case can be.

    I watched the entire episode on discovery+, and her mother failed her. The mother would Natasha and her friends to raves, and kept bags of drugs in her bedroom. Making it accessible for Natasha, and her teenage friends to take.

  • @shell1469
    @shell1469 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    I watched the full episode. I think BOTH parents failed Natasha. They kids told their dad that there were drugs in the house and he ignored them and didn't believe them. The mom is one of the most irresponsible people I have ever seen, but the dad also missed many chances to intervene.

      Mary's Mother I was addicted to painkillers and benzodiazepines and luckily it only took me one stint in rehab, but I know heroin and meth are much, much harder to come off of. I hope she’s able to someday and realizes her worth.
