This resonates with me. At 61 years old I left my safe secure job of 14 years and got a job offer to work from for 40% pay increase. The universe literally dropped the opportunity in my lap for the exact reason you said . While taking the leap was so hard and it still is, I know in the long run it is right for me to be able to financially take care of myself for the future .

Clarifying my earlier comment that your 2 min intro gave me a mini mind bomb was due to the way you explained thinking vs intuition. Your brilliant way of stating the fact REALLY HELPED my 'thinking vs knowing'. Seeing the knowing will always be a little/lot uncomfortable.
This caused me to remember how I used to embrace a new adventure...jump in my car with
just my clothes and start driving...now older and 'thinking' I have a little more to lose ... I am losing by staying, allowing myself to be Charley when time and again she is Lucy grabbing it away....you're clever Miss MJ. That will stay with me all the days of my life. Both statements

I thought A LOT about this video, the dragon, and the river. And I'm wondering what if the dragon is chasing because you are running? What happens if you stop running intentionally, not out of fear or indecision, but out of curiosity? What if you ask the dragon, why are you chasing me? Dragons are intelligent creatures. It is possible to have a conversation with them. What if you ask them why? What if they tell you it is because you were running? Or because you left your jacket? Or because this is all just a game of metaphysical tag? I get what MJ is saying, you can't hide from the dragon, but should you run from it either? What if you need to face it? Maybe it will eat your face, maybe it will share some wisdom. But one thing I know for sure, if you keep running it will keep chasing you. Maybe you'll make the jump to grab the rope and maybe you won't. But eventually that dragon will get across the river. It's a dragon. It can fly. If you deal with the dragon, then you can turn your attention to the river. Will it still be on fire? Maybe? But one thing is true about a river, there is always more than one way to cross it. Dealing with the dragon, could give you space to figure out a better way to cross that river than the potentially deadly rope jump. If you can't see how to cross from here safely, go higher, get a better perspective, find the place in the river where there could be a bridge or a shallow area. I think this is all about perspective and clarity, both of which can be improved with light and a broader view, both of which a dragon can provide. So rather than run from the dragon, talk to the dragon. Maybe they'll even use their unique abilities to take you across that river. You never know until you stop running.
