Question: with multiple employees working the same shifts, will I need to apply that shift for each employee working that shift? Example: 5 employees work the D1 shift (6:00am - 2:30pm Mon-Fri) apply that shift to the calendar 5 times ?
You only apply a shift to a calendar once (unless you are applying to the same calendar for a different Start and End Date, e.g. you extended the calendar further in the future). When you apply a shift, the Work Periods table is populated. You can view this on the Work Periods tab in the Calendars application. You then populate each of your Labor records with the Calendar / Shift - in your scenario you have 5 labor records and you will populate the calendar and D1 shift on each of these Labor records.
