Yes, those foreign forces = CIA, NED, US AID, International Center for Human Rights, Amnesty International, International Foundation for Electoral Systems, Pathways to Peace, International Agency for Economic Development, NATO, Human Rights Watch, etc. If you want to know what kind of destructive things each of these US’s organization does just know that all of them do the complete opposite of what their name suggests!

I am a chinese filipino and I am inevitably ashamed of my failed corrupted country. There are lots of Filipinos out there who have "filipino pride" just like the nationalistic Indians. Lots deny the hurtful truth.

Well said. I actually love the Philippines but as you said the Filipinos are like the Indians, in self-denial and living in a fools' paradise. They are locked in as a post pseudo colony of the US which is just using it as a pawn in the chess board against China with no real interest in the Philippines as a country nor of its people. So the Philippines will remain poor and backward.

Plus their (many colonial minded people) die hard traits to be a US lapdog willingly n follow its policies. They are blinded by the fact that US does not want any country to progress to the point of not needing them. US want all countries to be dependent n be controlled by them. Call me racist if you want. But that is what I believe. Two important factors: Culture (learned) and iq (innate). The Sino sphere culture (Confucianism) China, Japan, N and S Korea, Singapore (75% ethnic Chinese), Taiwan (97% Han Chinese), Hong Kong (China), Macau (China).
And check out the iq ranking, the top spots vary year by year. But, with no exception, it has always been among the above nations and regions. (well, the one and only exception over a long period was in the year 2023 when Iran ranked 3rd)
Those are crucial factors, but not guarantees, as most, if not all, of the above nations went through or going through very difficult times. And if China adopts the Western style democratic system, I'm quite certain that it would be screwed.

Singapore, the smartest country, as well as the most successful one in ASEAN, has been playing smart geopolitical balancing games between super powers for decades, for the maximum benefit of the country, without being squeezed and sacrificed as cannon fodder by the US or China.
Filipino people always look at the success of Singapore with envy, and wonder why they can't replicate the best practices in their homeland and why their country is still deeply trapped in US colony mentality without a clear way out.
Truth hurts. A smart leader plays smart geopolitical games and invites American and Chinese companies to build factories in order to generate jobs and increase revenue, while a clueless leader easily gets emotional like a kid, often is played by geopolitical players as chess pieces, invites foreign military to build bases in order to generate tensions and increase the risk of conflicts, and sacrifices the country's development and trade.
Japan and S. Korea can sit down for negotiations and cooperations, despite of their long time disputes over the sovereignty of the Liancourt Rocks in the sea between them. That is political wisdom and diplomatic maturity on full display.
Other countries such as China and the Philippines can definitely learn from S. Korea and Japan to manage their difference on South China Sea, Taiwan, MILF or whatever, and develop their relationship.
Even the leaders of Vietnam and Malaysia are now much smarter, more resilient and pragmatic than P-Noy and BBM, embracing China's trade, infrastructure and investment with open arms, without sacrificing national sovereignty and dignity. Now the Philippines is the only ASEAN member that works as proxy for Uncle Sam in Southeast Asia, and puts itself into current awkward position of either losing face or losing opportunities for economic development.
Soon, even Laos and Cambodia will become richer than the Philippines. The Philippines will only compare better than Myanmar.

cause they aren't sinosphere asians duh...every single country that has historically had close cultural ties to china will have again close cultural ties with china, its history and it's culture. Philipines has always been a lazy backwater island nation, easy to colonize and no history of innovation or mentality of resistance. Look at vietnam, japans, and koreas history....way more wars and revolutions, but at the same time very close cultural exchange. China has often shared its knowledge and culture with the closest neighbors, and the closest neighbors had always had to seek to innovate or find things to trade to the chinese in return. You dont have this with an isolated island nation.

I know right? The PH is a backward colony of the US that takes orders from the US and only does what the US orders it to do, which are all bad for the PH and great for the US. Meanwhile, China is an independent country that is free to do what is best for itself and its people, which explains its rapid growth and technological and economic prowess!

      Chinese Migrants
      Are the fastest growing
      group of people crossing
      the U.S.-Mexico border:
      Number of migrants
In 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded 2.5 million encounters with people attempting to cross the border.
      Chinese migrants
The number of Chinese migrants crossing the border is unprecedented.
In 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that 37,000 Chinese citizens
were apprehended, which is 50 times more than two years earlier.
      Reasons for crossing
Many migrants are seeking jobs and freedom from
      China's political climate
      and economy.
      Routes
Many migrants use Ecuador as a transit point, then travel to Tijuana and other points in Baja California, Mexico. From there, they enter San Diego County and give themselves up to the U.S. Border Patrol.
      Scrutiny
Chinese migrants have come under scrutiny from politicians, who have made baseless claims that they are spies
      or drug smugglers.
      Response
The Department of Homeland Security has sent Chinese migrants back to China on charter flights.
      Ecuador has also moved
to restrict Chinese migrants heading for the U.S.
