I like your feather boards, I have never seen any like that before but as normal the simplest ideas are the best, I will have to pinch this idea from you, I hope you don't mind too much.
Thanks, you had my hopes up for a local store with good plywood. The blue store always seems to have warped sheets when I look, and the green one always seems to be delaminating (although last time I went it looked better). Don't really feel like driving to Noblesville to check the orange store and their supply.
Mike, did you ever consider sizing it down a bit to make better use of the sheet good? perhaps 48" wide instead of 59" . It would still be pretty large if my math is any good on Monday, perhaps 4.75" disks. (Anderson is my home town, now in Greenfield)
+Greg Chaney yes I though of that and it could easily be done to save material. The material for me was free and I wanted to make a statement. I think I did, lol
that is awesome i am making a couple of yard games in my shop as well and that was one of the ones i was going to make. Also a toss across only bigger that the original plastic one
I love this. I'm not sure if I had seen this project before on another TH-cam video or if I thought of doing something list this myself, but I know for a fact I'm going to make it now. Great job and thanks.
Woe! This is amazing! We're huge connect four fans and we play it in nearly every game night. Gonna definitely put this one on the make list ;-) Awesome project Mike.

What stops the circles from falling forward out of the wholes? Are they the same circles you cut out of the plywood?
The disc are different and larger then the holes.

What keep the chips perfect in the slots? Are the just landing on top of each other
Careful measurement and lay out. Yes the chip fall on top of each other. the spacing has to be near perfect to make it look right.
Ohh that's awesome! Way bigger scale than I expected
