    The moderator, Seun or whatever his name is, is very annoying. He speaks the English language with such force that I find him distasteful to listen to. Secondly, he asks a question and interrupts the person answering the question before he/she finishes. He needs more polish his skills. It's a great pleasure listening to the Prof speaking. He speaks fluently and does justice to the English language.

      That's one of the major problems Nigeria is facing. How do you develop when you can't take constructive critism? Emir of Kano criticised the Kano government on lack of amenities for the northern children and mismanagement of resources. He was dethroned. Why one may ask? Nigerians need to change the culture where criticism is a taboo.
      Why is the professor he interviewes speaks with such clarity and eloquence? Speaking clearly is a skill that can be learned and mastered. As a moderator on a national TV, you're being watched by millions of people around the world. The least you can do is to sharpen your tools of trade. Speaking with the mastery of the English language is a good start. If you went to see a medical doctor for treatment and you're wrongly diagnosed, would you say, after all, modern medicine isn't is tradition? Constructive criticism is neesed for developmental purposes. Nigerians should embrace it. It's one of the reasons the country is in a utter mess.

    • @onelove6971
      @onelove6971 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kola Atanda : I don’t live in Nigeria. I live in Europe and in a mix of many nationalities from around the world. Many of the foreigners including myself speak with an accent different from the natives.
      To pick on any one of these foreign speakers accent will be an attack on such persons self esteem. In the case of the moderator I can see he is stressing out his spoken words quite well to be understood by the public.
      Therefore I don’t see any constructive criticism displayed on your part. You want the moderator to be you who probably speaks in a very polished style, English Etonian educated voice.
      Moderator is Nigerian and putting his best foot forward in his presenting skills. Considering spoken English is not his first language. I believe he’s doing a great job. You can put constructive criticism on the state of corruption in Nigeria or other more important aspects of life in Nigeria.

    The only reason Nigerian political class has remained the same crop of people is that the citizens are easily deceived. First, Sanusi was never involved in corruption while at CBN. He infact exposed corruption in NNPC.
      2ndly if he had money why would Odinwampka wanted him to share his money he worked hard for when the government control vast resources to take care of the masses. Sanusi continued to bring moral arguments against the current and past government to do the right thing.

      Ann Brubeck, Nweka chika, We all anticipate for a better Nigeria 🇳🇬 a one Nigeria 🇳🇬 Both the North and South has a lot of problems and we are both not helping it. Dividing or separating the country, discrimination, and segregation are still the major problems of the country, not to mention the vast hate reigning between different religious and ethnic groups. I wish the youth could understand this and make a stronger move to support a collective progress. With that being said, I also wish the country will be separated according to the demand made by the so-called Biafra so that the potential effect of this mediocre movement will be realized hoping that no side will regret or blame the other for their future failures. I’m not in support of any political movement/part, I think Buhari has failed 🤷‍♂️ I’m only interested in progress, and I do not enjoy regional discriminations. All I care for is progress whether be it, south, or north or whatever let us at least think of bringing ourselves together and finding a sustainable solution. It doesn’t matter the size, it may start slowly but I’m positive that if hate will be minimal, progress will be at its peak.

    To me power corrupt, it is true absolutely power corrupt. , this Governor's sence of dignity is low ,who is Governor Gwendije compare to the Obas.or Emir. I am 100% sure that in Yoruba area , An Oba in Yoruba is seen as father to their subjects including the Gwedije.
    Some of this current Governors that we have now are semi- illiterate that does not knows protocols, law and order.For example , his in- law Ex. Governor for Oyo state was -Ajimobi was observed very rude to Olubadan, .........We will see their end .

    What an irony of life, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi a Fulani Hausa Man that was dethroned as the Emir of Kano and was banished to Awe in Nasarawa and was later ordered by the court to be released and eventually flee to Lagos South West of Nigeria to take refuge,this is very funny,is the case not supposed to be the other way round. Ebere Jonathan Goodluck took him out as the Governor of Central Bank for speaking truth to power and lo and behold he later went to Kano to pay him homage as the Emir, trust me the same thing will happen whereby Ganduje will go to Abuja Aso rock to pay him homage as the President of Nigeria. Just watch out.
