- This song was written in a much darker time of life for me. It was our last release as a band and in that season the long time relationship that I was in ended. I was broken, simply broken. While there may not be as much hope and optimism in these lyrics, they were extremely honest and true to how I was feeling. Don’t be fooled, time doesn’t heal any wounds, only facing them does. And having good friends and family to help you through the darker nights of the soul is critical.
Lastly, I actually wrote this song (and most every song I’ve ever written) on this beat up old Yahama guitar I purchased over 20 years ago. Shoutout to Parker from the band JamisonParker for recording this E.P.
-This song is dedicate in memory of Luis and Eddie Rosas, both of whom lost their lives due to Covid. This acoustic version was used to help raise funds for their family in 2020.

I remember when I bought this ep album in 2003. I was in Las Vegas at Virgin records. I was 21 years old and now I'm 37. Time goes by. I'm glad your back Adam.

man those roomy "Whoa-ohh-ohhhhh" at the beginning of the second verse and very end bring me back. Love the big vocal climax (yeah I said climax) is a really nice addition to.

Wow. This performance.. Kings of Pop shouldve been massive. Really is up there with the best in my opinion. But this ep, its something else. The songs were at their peak and were nothing shorter than magic.

This is my favorite off of WIACD and this performance of it is great, Adam. I'm sure it's low on your list, but any chance that you'd do any of the unreleased tracks like "I Have To Let You Go", (your version of) "Temecula Sunrise", or "Yesterday Is Gone Forever"? They're all soooo good. One of the worst parts about Home Grown breaking up was that I thought you guys were both writing your best songs when it ended between those and WIACD.
Actually, Temecula Sunrise was voted #2 song to do acoustically on Instagram when I recently had a vote. I'll have it up in a couple months!
