It really sucks how they did Alucard in this game. He's basically just a Soma with less cool abilities and no one uses him :( They should have given him some more abilities and special weapons to help balance him with Soma
As someone who hasn't ever played HD, can I ask if Alucard has any of his spells from SotN? And if that is the case, are they as useful? I do recall Soul Steal and the Spirits being completely insane back then.
Mikau Black He has most of those spells but they're all pretty weak and rarely used. The really short mist move is somewhat useful but is nothing compared to all the amazing soul abilities that Soma has. Soma and Alucard can both use most of the best weapons in the game so there's basically no reason to use Alucard when Soma has so many more strong abilities
Random Videos That sucks big time, and considering Konami's current state, I don't think it'll ever be fixed. Let's hope that Bloodstained quenches our Castlevania needs at least for a while.
Genya Arikado would be awesome also Hammer would be cool if they could make him use guns, rockets, grenades, etc. I kind of wish it had the adult maria from PSP or Saturn too

And then soma can have his low resolution sprite from AoS and johnathan can have a question mark, along with shanoa, charlotte, and fuma, and dont forget the alucard from castlevania 3, he has an hairstyle that can be mistaken for an afro.

i play alot but yeah it tends to be dead most the time especially from about 1am to about little before noon mountain standard time although i run into alot of Japanese and U.K players
i had a question for ya guys why does it look as if the blue aura sometimes doesnt appear around the sword like its losing power...this has been bothering me cuz i spent alot of time to get this sword an i want to use it to its max potiential...any help is appreciated ^^
Maxing out Alucard is better and more fun than most characters. Opening purple and gold chests in most chapters to find scrolls increases his spells dps
To this day, yes. Although the game itself is not active, there’s a dedicated discord server where you can find others to play with, usually with 2-3 players on a normal day

i've restarted to play this on my PS3, the loot drop rate is very frustrating and time consuming.

Nah, wall climbing is an actual shortcut. The warp glitches are where you teleport, say, into a wall.

Muramasa +1 is found exclusively in Chapter 11 Hard, and have to use either Soma or Alucard to get the drop
