Cool deal buddy anything with the word Oliver on it is worth bringing home to add to the fleet. It not a collection it’s a fleet when it is still used around the farm
That is a well maintained plow. I set up a number of them many years ago and remember installing the triangular decals on the beams. However this is the first shear pin version that I have ever seen. In central PA we only sold cushion trip or automatic reset plows due to the limestone rock that was everywhere. As you said that 365 plow is a perfect companion to the 1550.
Yeah, we didn’t have any problems with rocks around here, but I still have never really seen a sheer bolt version of any of these plows. They were all the cushion trips around here.
Looks like a gem. Plows will likely be a rare item in a few years. Probably will be worthwhile to keep them in good repair while wearing parts (frogs, moldboards, shins, shares, and landsides are still available.
I can't believe you would replace a landside 😂😂 my dad is a plumber so we pull an old submersible pump apart and use the stainless shaft to weld on the bottom. That lasts along time plus is free
Nice plow, always fun to keep treasures from the neighborhood. We had a 1550 gas back when as well. Probably the best starting tractor we ever owned. Have a 1550 gas utility today, dosen't see much use and is angry at times.
Good video Ross, thanks for sharing, do I sense another Oliver tractor coming to your collection in the future, something connected in some way to this new plow🤔
Hi Ross nice video as always we had a sneak peak at that plow on the previous gate video when you drove by with the 1650. Have you ever given any thought to having a plow days at your farm with your Oliver club.
Love it! I'm kind of a moldboard junkie myself. Drug home two more this winter alone. Both of those are Red but always looking for Meadow Green ones too. Know where there is a 5-16" 565 sitting in the weeds, just need to figure out who owns it and if they will sell. Apparently I've achieved 'collector status' as I'm up to 20, (I think) plows. Had a line on a 6342 that I really wanted but decided between the price and not really having an appropriate tractor that I would pass.
You are welcome. Your videos are always great to see. It's great to see you save another new toy. Will always watch your videos and learn more historic information. Thanks for sharing. See you later.
Do you have any plows with the Speedex bottoms on them? We had a So. IN. customer who used the because he had mucky ground and claimed they pulled easier. He was also the one who won our "My ground plows so hard that ????????" He wrote, "My ground plows so hard that when I break for lunch and after lunch when I go back out to the tractor the plow is just catching up." We had contests at times. One was when a customer brought us a bushel basket full of turnips we had a "Who can peel the longest peel from one, and one only turnip?" Some of those guys had razor-sharp knives and could peel like a pro. One farmer laughed when we complimented him on his peeling. His answer was, "I was a little rowdy when I was in the army and got a lot of time peeling potatoes"
Looks great - I got one identical in the deal for my 2255 FWA out of Michigan a couple years ago. Great little plow, can be put behind so many models! Nice find!
Really nice looking plow Ross ! When you come out this way I got a couple of Oliver plows for you to ID cause I cant figure out what they are. I got a 3 bottom like yours but it has a different center link tree and I think its a 360 but I'm not sure. Got a 3242 4 bottom too ! Bandit
Hi Ross, very informative video on the plows. Not sure if you have other manufactures plows. But I have a IH McCormick #37 two-way plow. I am looking for info on it. Is this something you may have in your collection? Thanks for all you do
They work equally as good. The only reason Oliver switched was it was cheaper to use the square beam because you didn’t have to make special adapter brackets to the metal tube.
I like the Oliver education you give.
Cool toy. Definitely should store that one in a shed.
Yeah, I need to find room for a lot of my stuff 🤣
Just a reminder folks; Don’t skip the ads, this is revenue Ross can use to make more videos like this.
Nice plow Ross. Really nice shape.
Thanks Larry!

This is great info. Thank you for sharing. Awesome plow collection.
Thanks Derek!
Great find Ross can't wait to see it in the field.
Thanks!
Nice find, I really hope we will see some plowing this spring.

its in nice enough shape your going to have to find shed space

Definitely looks like a nice plow.

She’s mint!
Thanks!!

That is in really good shape.
My dad uses a white three bottom with auto reset. Plow about 30-40 acres a year. Works awesome.
Awesome!
Seems like a good purchase, my friend.
Nice find Ross
Thanks Stephen!
Looking forward to seeing the 365 in action.
Great find Ross, you certainly have a gift for acquiring treasures!
Thanks!!
Sweet plow. I like the 3 bottom fully mounted for plow days. It's a lot less hassle loading and unloading when you are there.
Grate job bud
Thanks!!
Like the new intro Ross 👍

nice plow ross, good find and close by.
Nice plow! Your going to need extra drivers!
Nice video. Don't see many plows like that here, mostly spinner/roll over plows.
Ross, good deal on the plow👍👍👍 thanks Michael
*Liked it
*You're not an idiot
Thanks!
Since I helped you buy it can I borrow it lol ! Enjoyed watching Ross
Nice looking plow.👍👍👍👍👍
Great plow you found there!
Thanks Jeff!
Ross, Thats a model 3241.
Poor Ross had no idea that shortly after he mad this video he would let the cows out in the yard and tip over his hay ring. Lol😂
🤣🤣🤣
I have that same plow with the cushion trip and hydraulic hillside hitch
Nice
Great looking buy plow.
Nice video Ross. Looks like you got yourself a nice plow there. Can't wait to see her doing some work. Thank you for sharing.
I wonder... that 365 is sure lighter then my 348 full mount with automatic reset.
Nice plow
Very cool history lesson! Thank you
I bid on a rollover plow this spring. My buddy wanted it for his 2255
That’s a plow I’d like to find, but they just weren’t around this area
@@rosstheoliverman it was a model 6342. It brought $1600
That's a sweet looking plow
Nice find 👍

I would like to see how you set up to plow.
I think that that Oliver guy, Chris Losey did that in a video.
Bandit

I liked it
Good buy!
Make sure to tell that guy to tell you if hes ever selling his 1550, I know you've got one but tractors that straight disappear more and more.
How many tractors do you own
Close to 40
That's a really nice looking plow. Great buy. Would that be the size that you would use on the 1365 tractor?
Do Oliver plows pulls easy as everyone says? Thats a nice buy.
Is yours missing that support rod up to the mast?
Do you prefer the square beam plows or round ?
They work equally as good. The only reason Oliver switched was it was cheaper to use the square beam because you didn’t have to make special adapter brackets to the metal tube.
Could you pull it with any of the Italians
Yes, I think Freddie would handle it
@rosstheoliverman would be need to see him also pulling it
Here north of fort Wayne you would have to buy shear bolts by the pound 😅. Your videos are always intertaning😅
I m not a farmer so I have a question. You have the three point plow , then there is the pull type plow , what is the semi mounted plow .
Thumbs up and you’re not an idiot
Thanks Matt!
Any more Dunham colapacker was junk as well. 🤧👨🌾
Looks nice, for age. But 3 plows doesn’t interest me. 4 is as small I I go. Perfer 5 🤷🏻♂️. 👨🌾
Nice find!
Thanks!
