Try some Stanley ice off paste and put it on your guides! Reel ice saver. Also the aquel premium floatant will help with ice and repelling water from being picked up on your line! Great job in tough conditions!!
living here in the great pacific northwest. have seen many different erie steelhead vids and is now a bucket list. tight lines to you and always keep it wet.
Lol We must have been fishing that same Saturday. Use Vasoline on your eye guides and the ice won’t be so bad. Hopefully I run into you sometime up there.
What a great video! The fish are pretty lethargic this time of year and the bait must be right in their face as they won't be expending a lot of energy chasing. That's the lowest water conditions ive ever seen. Hopefully in March conditions will be much better.
Thank you so much! Fishing in March has been my favorite for the past couple of years due to the temps warming up, fewer people (compared to the fall months), and the spring run of fish!
Wow, I wish I had a woman like you to Fish with you were adorable and you’d be fun to be with. I love your video keep posting some more videos. I have a Fish there at Fish Washington state mostly in Canada in Alaska in Rhode Island where I’m from have a great day
Have your rods rigged at home, not during daylight when you should be fishing. Thats called "down time." Camera placement should show creek, so viewers can see fish during fight. It is annoying to listen to you describe a hole when we can't see it or watch the fight. Placing the camera further back will help you get everything in the picture. Fly floatant helps keep ice off your guides. There are other ways, too. Hens dont color up like bucks, fresh fish dont have loose eggs.
Glad you got a few! I prefer fishing in the snow; less people, the fish seem less stressed, and the snow makes everything pretty! Safe travels!

The little squeak you made before the dancey dance was adorable! Wish we could see the water on this one but all good! Nice little SH!!!
Looks like a good day considering the low water. I found a pair of scissors up there a week ago. If yours had purple handles I have them 😂
That is too funny! Those 100% were my scissors if they had a purple and white handle.
@@the_stream_queen hilarious lol. I have them back in Ohio. I use skein too and forgot mine. 🤣

What type of rod is that? It's a beast.
This is the 7 foot, ProFISHiency, Americana spinning combo rod!
Are those waders worth the money?
I received these waders as a gift for Christmas this year, and I love them!
@@the_stream_queen what a thoughtful gift! I may have to get some
Use ultra light gear for easy bite or hits, lighter gear is better fight with fish
Come to Northern Michigan Petoskey for steelhead , salmon and of course small mouths , largemouths , pike and Musky!
ChapStick for guides
I guarantee that second fish you saw you snagged 🤣🤣
